If you are looking for a tour that is poorly planed and not worth the money than this is for you. You start the day by meeting in a market, and then you are led to Mark's beat up truck that you travel in all day. Once you get over the smell of mildew in the car, you have to... More

On to our next stop at a black sand beach to see turtles and coastal area. In late afternoon we arrived at the volcano... More

We took this all-day tour which included Rainbow Falls, the Macadamia Nut Farm and the Orchid Garden Centre en route to the Park with a pre-ordered at a local cafe lunch organised by the driver as well. The highlights included walking through a lava tube, clambering over the vast lava flows and seeing craters, some still steaming. We were picked... More

we wanted to discover the region surrounding Hilo and found the itinerary proposed by Hawaii volcano tours really interesting. We chose the tour called ' the puna experience'. Driving along the Hamakua coast we stopped first at the fantastic Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden. this garden is the best we have seen in the islands, a must for anyone. From there... More

My girlfriend and I booked a last minute trip to the big island from Oahu and called Hawaii Volcano Tours to set up a tour. Despite suggesting on the website that we book two weeks in advance, they set up a tour for us for the next day with no extra charge. We flew into Hilo, had breakfast in town,... More

Mary Lou is one of a kind and was a wonderful find. We spent one day with Mary Lou in Hilo (private tour) and the next day with her husband, Ken, in Kona with another couple from our Celebrity Solstice cruise. The couple just adores each other and both are determined to provide their guests with a day filled with... More
