The day started with our first impression of the 'Botanical World Adventures' with Tiffany, a very pleasant and truly customer- focused representative. We signed up for the whole package (Segway's garden tour - 1st time on Segway - and zip lining over their tropical canopy) at a great price! Ipo did a fantastic job of teaching us how to drive... We had a blast! The views were gorgeous. The zip lines were insane! Our guides (Kalani, Kai, Dillon, and Ipo) are knowledgeable, fun, humorous, and entertaining. History, vegetation and great fun! 100% recommend!

In all fairness, we did not do the segway or zipline tour here, so maybe if we had opted for one of those, I might have rated it higher. We first did the gardens, then the maze and lastly the waterfall. The gardens were not impressive in my opinion in comparison to other botanical gardens on the island. There were... More

We went to check out the botanical gardens and left disappointed. I imagine that the segway tour and zipline might be fun if that is what you are interested in, but there are much nicer botanical gardens on the Big Island. Plants not well maintained in several areas, no flow to the garden areas and the staff was definitly not... More

We took a segway tour through the gardens with our guide, Ipo. Ipo was terrific! She was super knowledgeable, very patient, funny, professional, and passionate about Hawaii. The Segways performed well and we never felt unsafe. Tons of fun! Thanks, Ipo!!

We had booked the Zip Lining in advance, and loved every minute of it. We just barely looked around the gardens, as the reason for our visit there was to zip line, but could see they are beautiful. I had zip lined in Belize several years ago, and remember being very stressed over watching my speed, applying brakes, keeping on... More

My 5 year old absolutely loved the ziplining. It's a perfect family excursion for people with a young family. I walked with my 3 year old along the course. Very pleasant among the trees and shade. My husband and 5 year old partook in the ziplining and loved it. It's challenging for children in a good way - without been... More

Variety of plants and a few nice walks but nothing spectacular for this price. Nice addition with the trip to the waterfall. Nice and friendly staff. A bit more comprehensive signage would help.
