Small beach; not a sandy beach. Lots of rocks, not much swimming area. Doesn't look like a safe place to swim especially if you are not familiar with the area..

Hakalau Beach Park, a relatively new addition to the array of Hawai'i County owned parks. The park is being maintained in joint cooperation with the County and several dedicated volunteer groups such as the non-profit, Basic Image, Inc. and Pakalove.org.
