Interesting stop even if you aren't a coffee drinker

Lots of free samples of fruit and local made ice cream and sorbet. Little fruit tree tour with lots of international fruits. Kids loved the ice cream!

My family and I were just doing a quick (first day) situational tour of south Kona. We stopped in because I'd missed my morning coffee and just wanted to see what they had. Lisa was behind the counter and have a quick education on the coffees of the area, the fruits and even plied is with some chocolate Macadamia nuts.... More

LOVED the Kona Pacific Farmers Cooperative. We did a walking tour, came in to try a lot of fruit we've never tried before, and the really sweet gal at the register, Lisa, was so knowledgeable on any questions we had. She kept giving us new stuff to try. We ended up purchasing some delicious Kona coffee as well as chocolate... More

Terrific macadamia nut products and Kona coffee, ice cream, etc, great free samples! Worth the stop on the way down to Kealakekua Bay for kayaking and snorkeling.

This is a great little shop! Fresh fruits and veggies as well as coffee samples. Ice-cream! We loved it. It was close to our B & B Luana Inn, so we stopped more then once. The macadamia nuts were so fresh! Don't miss this gem.

Came by chance and had a lot of fun. Great hosts. Lots of humor. Lots of free samples. These are cooperative coffee growers. Besides coffee there is refreshment, baked goods, fruit and gifts. Help them out and buy something. Enjoy the conversation. A great side trip.

I really enjoyed this place. They gave lots of samples and were very friendly. I love to buy local food to take home when on vacation. I get to enjoy the finds after the high of traveling has passed at home. The chocolate covered macadamias dipped in powder sugar are addictive. I bought some honey and coffee too. The people... This co-op is the oldest and largest Kona Coffee Cooperative in the US. Great gift shop where you can sample their coffee, chocolate, macadamias, fruit and ice cream; then buy some as souvenirs (dark chocolate and Hawaiian sea salt coated roasted macadamia nuts were just fab!) Plus learn more than you ever imagined about growing and grading coffee in their... More
