Really a great talk from the guide and it was fun to see the raptors up close. They have a baby bald eagle and are trying to help many birds that have been injured. The guide was very open, available for any questions from the audience, the whole time was relaxing, casual and really fun! One of my favorite things on... More

Expert talk given by Becky (hope I got the name right) and we were shown a Peregrine Falcon, an Eagle Owl and a young Bald Eagle being given some careful rehab. We were also able to get a bird identified that we had photographed earlier in the day - top visit! Well worth supporting this organisation's work.

Kids Loved it, so did their parents. The Guide was very articulate and knew the birds' habits. This is a fun and informative morning or afternoon.

I really enjoyed our visit here. The presentation was great, we learned a lot about raptors and the history of the center. Seeing a few of the residents (raptors) was really neat. Great place for older kiddos (>5 y/o).

My wife and I attended an hour-long educational session, but we wound up staying there for another hour just talking to the staff about the great work they do. The birds are beautiful and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. In particular, Becky was awesome. It was a surprising highlight of our trip!

We thought the Educational Program at the center was great. We enjoyed seeing the birds and learning more about them and conservation activities.

The raptor center gives an informational "encounter" 3x week-call ahead to reserve a spot. Meghan gave an interesting talk along with Q & A. We met a peregrine falcon, red tailed hawk and some sort of European owl. We also got to see a juvenile bald eagle that was being rehabbed. If you have any interest in raptors, take the... More

Hawaii has the Hawaiian Hawk or Io and the Hawaiian Owl or Pueo that I know of. So it was very interesting learning about this center and how they rescue and rehabilitate injured raptors and educate people about raptors.

Very knowledgeable staff showed off several raptors including a peregrine falcon, golden eagle, Eurasian eagle owl, great horned owl, etc. Enjoyed by kids and adults, a great price, and just a short trip from Jackson.

The Teron Raptor Center has a short, structured program for visitors. This week they had an hour plus program at noon Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You first need to call them at 307-203-2551 for schedule, hours and prices, Senior price/donation is $10. Since this is a rescue, you won't be allowed in the areas where the sick and healing birds...
