Entire resort is gorgeous, staff is knowledgable and courteous and Jackson Hole is an incredible way to appreciate the mountains. I was initially shocked by the price of a tram ticket ($25), but if you purchase a Family Pack (2 adults and up to 3 kids) for $79 the cost is more reasonable. Go online for best rate. An earlier... JH is the #1Ski Resort for a reason: Most Vertical Most Black Runs Best Food Breathtaking Views You can't beat the rush if going up the Tram with Led Zeppelin blasting and getting ready for the steepest vertical in the USA!

We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather in early September and took the free ride up the Bridger Gondola one afternoon. We met a lovely couple and shared a table where we enjoyed half price drinks and appetizers with a spectacular view all around. A tasteful and not overly loud band played some favorite tunes and a nice mountain buzz... More

We are staying in Jackson and began our adventure today with a tram ride up the mountain where the views are outstanding.....I don't understand the comment about the developments or the views. The base of the mountain had lots of activities for children/adults, restaurants, condos etc. but they are all appropriately build in a log cabin/stone style which matches the... More

The views were nice, but nothing special beyond the other peaks. You see more development, and not much of natures beauty. It was so expensive. And, it is COLD! Plus, if bad weather comes, you might get stuck for a little. Bring a jacket!!

This is a summertime review, so it does not pertain to winter activities. First, there are many upscale shopping establishments, restaurants, etc. at the base, but don't expect McDonalds or Wal-Mart. There is a lot of green space outside to enjoy including a small playground and water fountain for the kids to run through on a hot afternoon. We took... More

Wish we would have stayed longer. We did the TRAM to the summit. Im terrified of heights but wanted to do it and hike down. My daughter (10 yrs) was too scared to do the hike, so we ended up going back down the TRAM. We ended up taking the 2 hr horseback riding tour (SaddleBack) and both kids had... More

Kids have all kinds of free things - parks, play things. Plus other options for fee like bungee jumping on trampoline, rent bikes, etc. Adults can hike, go up to top of gondola for bar and view, para-gliding and more.

We were staying in Teton Village so we decided to ride the tram to the top for waffles - we would recommend for great views and great waffles - We did not hike because the top of the mountain was in the clouds and rain was coming in but it was fun to be 10,500 feet up - We had... More
