Historic bar

This is a great place to stop by and have a beer. The history hanging on the walls is amazing and fun to look at.

If you are in town, you have to at least drop in to get the Cowboy Bar feel. Lots to look at and you don't need to stay beyond one drink.

Near little bar. Reasonable and friendly service. Did not eat there just stopped in for a drink. Interesting decor with old west charm.

First - I want to say that in my opinion, Sheridan, Wy is probably the best example of an authentic western town. The main street of Sheridan is loaded with great buildings and wonderful stores. It is a friendly town and everyone welcomes you. The Mint bar is an icon in town, and you only have to walk in to... More

This place is so full of wonderous things to look at that you may be forgiven for thinking that you had walked into a museum. Every square inch of this place tells a story, from the cedar shingles branded with local range brands to the back bar made from entire local trees to the long dead animals now adorning the... More

The Mint somehow manages to bridge the gap between squeaky-clean and authentically gritty. Is as though the Disney folks fabricated a cowboy bar, only it's not -- it's totally real. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Anytime I get a chance to be in Sheridan I am sure to stop into the Mint Bar and have a drink. The nightlife is very entertaining and the set up of the bar allows you to escape the clutter up front and enjoy a game of pool.

Love the history at this bar! I could look at the rodeo/cowboy/ranching memorabilia on the walls for hours! Cold beer and the bartender was very nice and friendly. We were just passing through on a Monday night so the bar wasn't very crowded but every one in there was friendly and interesting. Lots of locals. Loved to! Must visit while... More

Great place to just stop in to look at the stuff hanging on the walls unless you're thirsty and then there's that too. Nice friendly barkeep and wound up purchasing a couple of souvenirs before I left! Neat place to see while strolling the main street of Sheridan!

Linda and I stayed in Sheridan for the first time this year. We walked downtown and stopped at the Mint before noon, and decided it was time to take a rest and sip a cold adult beverage before continuing our exploration of Sheridan. Jake the bartender was friendly, and took our order right away. He was able to find the... More
