We didn't come to use the restaurant, and were pleasantly surprised that they are well prepared for just sight-seers too. We enjoyed the history of the museum and especially the photos of the hotel changing over the years from carriages to cars out front. More

Visited the Inn while staying in Sheridan. Went there 2 nights and found the staff very informative telling the history of the bar and the heritage surrounding the place. Had attempted to book the inn prior to travelling. The manager informed us there have been no rooms there for many years. They have just began renovating the place and 2... More

Beautiful historic inn close to the Sheridan railway station. Currently, this building is in the process of full restoration and will be opening to guests next year. We stopped here for lunch in order to break up our drive from Cody, WY to Rapid City, SD. This is a beautiful place to stop for lunch. The bar is the original bar and the Sheridan Inn is an historic landmark. Definitely worth the stop. We had a great lunch for a reasonable price. More

Went on a Sunday for a visit in actually May of 2010. Came at the end of the Sunday Brunch and stuffed ourselves with a wonderful spread. Manager of the Restaurant gave us a personal tour of the hotel since we were only customers there. Very historic and looks wonderful after some recent renovations. Come for the brunch! You won't... I ate at the Sheridan Inn after the motel manager told me that it had the best steaks in town. I agree that the steak was excellent, but not the size as described on the menu and certainly not worth the price. The Inn should probably turn off the large screen television and get rid of the paper napkins- except... More
