A beautiful hotel in the center of town -- a real step back in time. Enjoy the sculpture on the front lawn as well!

This is the prettiest building in Sheridan! Nicely kept, and well maintained landscaping. This would be an awesome venue for weddings and such. Even if you aren't going to have an event, stop by and look at this amazing building!! There is a lot of history that goes with it as well! Wild Bill Hickok owned this for a short... More

Once again, the old Inn has been saved from a fate worse than the wreckers ball, being recently purchased by private investors who are actively restoring her to her former glory. By summer 2014, rooms will be available to rent and food service will once again be offered. Check with the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce for the new phone... More

This place could really be something. I wish I had the money to open this place to the public. It has so much potential. It is located close to the train tracks and you just know in it's day it was a hopping place. You could see Miss Mona coming down the stairs and a clerk checking you in. We... More

This place is like stepping back into the 1800's! The tour guide shared so many beautiful stories about the rich history. Great little restaurant inside as well. All in all a wonderful spot to stop.

The Sheridan Inn has provided our town with many wonderful, and some strange memories. Now closed, due to money problems, the inn has a rich history. Miss Kate was a loyal housekeeper who still haunts the upstairs. Watch for her lamp going from room to room. When the Inn was open, her smell was sometimes present. Her good spirit guards... More

While on the road we happened upon this gem. We ate in their restored saloon and had a great lunch of chili, fries and lemonade with berry cake for dessert. The waitress was very friendly and provided wonderful service. The lunch was not cheap but the atmosphere and the good food made for a pleasant experience. After lunch we were... More

This was an interesting bit of history, especially if you like cowboy related history. We got a bite to eat at the Grille...the buffalo chili was very good.

Ground floor is restored faithfully and it was easy to imagine 19th century visitors there. The 1893 bar and grille was delightfully authentic and I had an excellent clam chowder and steak. Service was quite good, too.
