You can't beat the view of Mt. Moran reflected in the Snake River. Hit this spot early morning to catch the sun lighting up the face of the mountain, or at sunset to catch the amazing colors. There is also a narrow dirt road coming off of the main drag just to the West of the Oxbow Bend turnout. This... More

Great photo opportunity and also saw some wildlife. Easy pull offs for parking. Went several different times to get the right light.

We stopped to observe the wildlife at this spot and were amazed at the variety of birds. There were geese, ducks and many other birds I didn't recognize. There were even several white pelicans which completely surprised us. It was beautiful.

We spent time here looking for wildlife. We saw bison and antelope. It is beautiful and we loved our search for animals.

We were only able to stop here to eat our lunch but it was a great view. Unfortunately we didn't see any animals but we've heard that it's a great place to see them if you go at the right time!

Beautiful views of the Tetons, especially Mount Moran. In July the wildflowers are everywhere adding an extra special touch!

I stopped here by accident looking for the road to Jackson and found a delightful view of Mt Moran with the winding river in between. The flowers were blooming and made for some interesting shots of flowers-river-mtn. It is a perfect place to plan a picnic if you are driving from Yellowstone to the Tetons. We were doing the loop... In late May you could still avoid the summer crowds. The weather was cool at night and very comfortable during the day.

A beautiful spot for seeing wildlife and spectacular views of the Teton range. Just north and east of the Jackson Lake Dam and just south of Jackson Lake Lodge. We used to always see a moose or two in the water by the road, but they have disappeared the last few visits. Usually we see a few swans on the... More
