This experience is truly a "hidden gem," south of Jackson. An approximate 45 minute drive south of town from Jackson in comfortable vans started the day. Upon arrival we were given a briefing about JH Iditarod and the check in procedure was simple. The dogs pulled us by sled to the Granite Hot Springs where we soaked for a little... More

We planned our trip for late March, thinking it would still be winter, but we got lucky. There was enough snow on the ground, but we did our tour on an absolutely beautiful 50 degree sunny day! Our guide, Mike, was fantastic! We all had a chance to drive the sleds. I drove, I'm a 130lb woman and it was... More

While visiting Jackson Hole, we went on the full day sled dog tour to Granite Hot Springs and a snowmobile tour of Yellowstone with a different company. Both trips were excellent, but we (wife and two kids, 10 and 8) enjoyed the sled dog tour more. We are not pet owners and I'm not comfortable with dogs, but the sled... More

This trip is a "must-do" adventure when visiting the Jackson area. I took my Dad out to ski Jackson and surprised him with Dog Sledding. Most definitely an experience the two of us will remember. I opted for the full day tour and very glad I did. Our guide (Tom) was beyond great. After a chilly ride up to the... More

This is a first class operation. The owner has raced in the REAL Iditarod and all over for decades, and his dogs love to run! My wife and I had a blast piloting a sled all the way to Granite Springs with our amazing guide, Tom. He told us stories about all 14 dogs on his two sleds on the... More

This trip was amazing. The scenery is unbelievable. My guide's name was Tom and he was so nice. He made me feel so comfortable on the sled. Our group traveled to Granite Hot Springs where we were allowed to swim and then had a wonderful picnic lunch. I would recommend this trip for young and old. There is really nothing... More

The day we went it was very cold -9 degrees and snowing. We went with another couple. There is one guide for two sleds. That means right off the bat you become a musher! Don't worry they take good care of you. The guide rides with the first couple to the Hot springs and then switches on the way back.... More

Great day and Great opportunity to learn about dog-sledding and be an active participant. Brett was our guide and is nothing short of amazing. Granite Hot Springs and a wonderful vegetarian lunch and a ride back in blowing snow - trip of a lifetime. Don't cheat yourself and only do a 1/2 day - the full day is the only... More
