Make time to do this. Can't say enough good things about the team, the dogs, the experience. Upon arrival, the guides will get you outfitted with all the gear you'll need to feel comfortable no matter the temperature and enjoy the ride. You can take turns mushing or just riding in the sled, As other reviews have mentioned, the guides... More

We sprang for this tour above any other pricey ones, like snow mobiling. It is expensive but this Is one of those once in a lifetime bucket list activities...and what better place for it than jackson (or Alaska.) We did the half day for time reasons, and missed out on the hot springs, but we felt it was totally worth... More

My family and I took the full-day dog sledding trip to the Granite Hot Springs and absolutely loved every minute of it. Both of our children (ages 11 and 9) were able to drive the sled (with the help of an adult). Our musher was named Cat and she was wonderful with our children, very patient and engaging throughout the... More

Courtney was our lead guide and she loves what she is doing and everything is reflected in her love for the dogs and showing the riders and drivers how to have a good time in what they are doing, whether it is riding in the sled, riding on the back rail with the driver, or driving it all by yourself.... Our full-day tour to the Granite Hot Springs was the most exhilarating, pleasurable, and unique experiences of our many travels worldwide. To avoid repetition from other reviewers, I offer: 1.) You must be somewhat 'thick skinned' about the dogs. These are feral animals who eat and sleep outdoors in exceedingly harsh conditions. They are not anything like your pet dog... More

What a wonderful and breathtaking experience. Words can not begin to describe not only what I saw but how I felt as I was sledding with the dogs! I'd go again in a heart beat.

We got picked up at 8:15 AM as promised and, with 6 others, made it through the snow and wind down to Granite Creek. The driver was friendly, informative and a good winter driver. At the Tour location, like one previous reviewer, the van couldn't make it up the last slippery hill. Forgive me if I didn't find the trek... More

We did the all day tour out to the hot springs. It was wonderful! We were greeted by owner Stacy whose enthusiasm was definitely contagious. She shows a real pride and concern for all her dogs. Our guide Kat, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, friendly and such care and concern for the dogs in her charge. The scenery was awesome. The... More
