This is the place to get a custom cowboy hat-the real deal. You pick the hat, color, style, hatband and Cynthia will make a hat that suits you and fits perfectly. We have quite a few now in our family, all different and everyone wears them with great pride. You will get loads of compliments with a custom hat from... More

My husband and I came upon the store as we were walking around town. When we went inside we were greeted by the dog (I loved that dog!) and treated with kindness by everyone. With their help my husband tried on and ultimately bought two hats as well as one for my son. The store is quite pricey but the... More

While in Jackson I wanted to stop into the Jackson Hat Company for a new hat. Walked by one night after dinner checked the hours and picked a time to come back. For the next three nights I stopped back only to find the shop closed when clearly I was at least two hours before the sign said they closed.... More

We loved this store and bought a hat from them. There's a nice dog always sleeping in the doorway, which is funny. If you want a hat made for life, this is the place to go. Jackson Hole can be VERY snobby, but we did not at all find the staff here snobby. A gentleman that appeared to be the... More

I found Jackson Hole Hat while driving through town on a summer vacation road trip. I am a hat wearer, and my collection includes everything from $39 generic fedoras made in China (cheap felt, unlined) on up to Stetsons. I wanted a replica of a unique historical hat that no one is making for the mass market, and Jackson Hole... More

After spending ten minutes in the store with my family (with no other customers) we had still not been spoken to. The middle aged man working stood watch over us as my husband browsed. He never offered assistance as my husband tried on different hats. He lost a sale that day and we made sure to pass our dissatisfaction on... More

If you're looking to spend $600 you will find some lovely hats here. If you are not quite in that league (and not a rodeo or movie star) but still interested in cowboy hats you may be in for some disappointment and, perhaps, discomfort... but maybe that's what they want?

My husband who is a working cowboy in Wyoming bought a very exspensive hat from the Jackson Hole hat Co.. it is a great hat. We took a trip back to Jackson early in the year and went into the shop, bought a hat for our daughter and asked if the hat that he bought there could be cleaned, the... More
