We visited Snow King in the winter and we were not staying at the hotel, just trying out the winter activities. Since we are not skiers, we looked for other activities to enjoy the snow. We tried the Cowboy Coaster and it was quite a trip, fast with sharp, jerky corner turns. I was apprehensive to begin with, but when... More

I stopped by the events center to buy some JH Moose gloves for my nephews. And it is always heartening to see the king thriving, even with a dearth of skiers and riders above. Way back in 1939 Neil Rafferty began operations here which developed into the hill with one of the earliest chair lifts anywhere, after Sun Valley, ID.... More

We took the ski lifts to the top in July with our six and four year old grandsons. Great views, and beautiful wildflowers at the top. We took a short hike, about as far as the kids could go, had a snack and then took the lift back down. The kids loved it, and we will take a longer hike... More

Right in the town of Jackson, this mountain looms over the town. The runs are very steep, even by Jackson Hole standards. The runs are often quite icy as well. The trade off is that no one is every skiing there so you have the entire mountain (albeit small) to yourself. There is also night skiing, but you'd better bundle... More

We had an amazing time at Snow King Mountain. My husband, a first time skier quickly graduated the rope pull area. The ski lift operators were extemely helpful as we got a little experience under our belt. The equipment rental staff were extremely helpful with setting us up on the right equipment which appeared to be in great shape. Biggest... More

Went today to do some snow tubing with my family, left blown away by the experience. The new coaster is definitely a good addition to any winter Park. We liked it so much we went twice. The way you can adjust the ride to fit your needs is a huge drawing point for me. The tunes were fun as well,... More

We drove to the Snow Mtn. resort one afternoon just to visit. We have never been snow skiing. I did purchase an hour on snow tubing and had a fun time. got tired of tubing before my hour was up. Definitely a good activity for familys with kids.

I was amazed at how fast the tubes go down the hill. It was a lot of fun and very organized with different lanes and timing of when each person is sent down. The lines were long today (Christmas) but it was worth the wait.

There are three lanes with different size hills down the slopes. Our family enjoyed the afternoon with friendly staff and well maintained equipment. Even with all the people, the lines moved quickly.
