I will provide you with a unique opportunity to explore the unparalleled scenery and wildlife surrounding Jackson Hole. My photo safaris are not just for avid photographers; they are designed for anyone looking for a better and more personable way to see Grand Teton National Park. Grizzly and black bears, moose, elk, mule deer, bison, pronghorn, eagles and wolves are just some of the wildlife we often experience. With my visual and ethical appreciation for the environment I' am anxious to share my passion with all my guests. When choosing a guided tour company the single most important thing you should ask: who your guide is going to be, and what experience they bring? I guarantee I will be your guide. I offer over 38 years of experience in seeking out the elusive wildlife that inhabits the region and extensive knowledge on the best locations to view and photograph the picturesque surroundings of Grand Teton National Park.My mission is quality not quantity. I do only one Safari Tour per day and each tour is individually customized. All tours include fresh morning glory breakfast muffins, refreshments and of course the use of high quality Nikon binoculars, and Swarovski spotting scopes, as well as tripods and rain-gear. Full day tours also include a quality lunch. While other companies contract with Hotel concierges, I do not. The smart travelers today are people just like you who do their own research. Please be sure to check out the rest, and see why people choose my Jackson Hole Wildlife and Scenic Safaris. I sincerely hope I can be part of your amazing Jackson Hole adventure! --Paul « less

My wife and I took the half-day morning tour with Paul on Monday, June 17th. Paul arrived at our hotel right on time and, after a few minutes of introduction, we were on our way. Paul immediately asked what we were most interested in seeing, We replied simply - "MOOSE"! Paul did not disappoint, finding three of them for us... More

We had the pleasure of going on tour with Paul Martin. We spent 5 hours with him in the Teton' s National Park. We traveled the inner road and I got the chance to photograph a black bear, a moose cow with her week-old calf, and some mule deer. He took us to see the famous John Moulton Barn where... More

Paul's tours are exactly as presented on the website. Right off the bat he tries to learn a little about you so he can tailor the trip to your interests. A rare treat made possible by all his tours being private. He is very knowledgeable about the area, its history and all of the animals. My main interest is in... More

His wealth of knowledge about the history and geography of the area made for a perfect photo safari. Paul was pleasant and outgoing and put us at ease. Springtime in the Tetons is always special and this year has been one of the best! Thanks for allowing me to share the valley of Jackson Hole and for joining me on one of my tours. The hunt to find wildlife with the backdrop of the Teton mountains is always exciting, and we always see something we did not see... More

As a graduation gift for our daughter, my husband and I booked a morning photo tour with Paul on May 20, 2013. This was her first opportunity to photograph wildlife and Paul was an excellent guide and teacher. Our daughter got some amazing shots of Blondie, the "prettiest grizzly in Grand Teton" and we also had the rare opportunity to... More

Thank you for your review! It was my pleasure to share Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park with you. We did have a special opportunity with the bear known as Blondie, in fact it was one of the best encounters I have had with this bear and especially fun sharing with you. I had the pleasure of going on a photo safari with Paul early last September 2012, and it was wonderful! We spotted a Bison herd along side the road, but they got too curious so we moved along to get out of their way. I appreciate the fact that Paul is so respectful of the wildlife and teaches his clients... More

Hi Lynn and thank you for sharing your trip with others. I remember our September Safari together very well. Besides the opportunities to share Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park with my guests I take particular pride and care knowing that my guests learn about the wildlife we see and the proper etiquette in sharing their environment. Thats why... More

This is an experience not to be missed. It was a pleasure spending our time together this day in Grand Teton National Park. Your timing with your visit was fortunate as the elk and buffalo had just begun their annual migration north and this year it was not only early, but seemed to be with purpose as thousands moved off the National Elk Refuge. I’m always pleased to... More

It was a ‘Wonderful Time in the Tetons’ that morning and thanks for allowing me to share it with you. As we get into the spring and summer months to capture or just enjoy the alpenglow requires an early start, but allows worth the effort.
