We've been coming to Jackson Hole for over 25 years and have taken quite a few different trail rides. All were good. However, this week we rode with the Mill Iron crew down near Hoback Junction. It was simply the best we've ever done!! Great people! The scenery is unmatched by anything that we've seen and done and we've done... More

Our family of 5 went horseback riding and had dinner (The famous T-Bones) at Mill Iron Ranch. Horseback riding through forest and to the top of a ridge in the Teton area will be a life long memory. Our 3 children, ages 8, 13, and 15, loved the experience. The ride is a bit strenuous if you are not used... More

we were not sure about even doing a trail ride....I'm 70 and we have 5 grandkids...after talking with co-owner Kim I felt we had made the right choice...when we showed up (all 13 of our family) they treated US like family. We had two guides Barry and Sadee and they were great...helped us overcome a bit of anxiety about riding...and made... This ranch is a the best place for trail riding with wonderful views. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. The horses sure-footed. A wonderful way to spend 2-3 hours in Jackson seeing our views by horseback. I always recommend this ranch to friends and hope to get to one of their dinner rides.

Great place for special events and trail rides. If you are lucky enough to get there for a special event with food their steaks are outstanding. Chancey who owns the place has put together a steak seasoning that is out of this world. That with melt in your mouth cuts of meat you are in heaven. They also have hay... More

I went on a 2-hour ride and it was absolutely wonderful. The entire ride was beautiful and the views at the top of the mountain were breathtaking. Our guide, Pete, was awesome - very personable. Our horses were solid - didn't spook at a single thing, which made it even more relaxing.

This 5 generation ranch has the best experience I have had for a 2 hours trail ride. These people are very professional, friendly, helpful and give you the ride of your life. We went up 2,000 ft. up a mountain and the sites were gorgeous! I would definitely recommend this company for a 2 hour trail ride that will leave... More

Four of us went on the first day the ranch opened for horse back riding. We really did not know what to expect on our 2 hour ride. We were taken on a guided ride that ascended 2000 vertical feet up the side of a mountain in 1.5 hours and back down in 45 minutes. It rained and sleeted on... More

The wagon ride around the ranch for 30 minutes was nice, but with average food and no entertainment, hardly worth the $80 per person cost. In addition, it cost us $80 to take a taxi for the 15 minute trip out there. It has great potential, but seems like it may be more of a summer destination.

We would like to thank you for visiting the Mill Iron Ranch. We are deeply saddened that your experience was just an average meal and nothing less than superb. We truly take reviews extremely serious because we are a family run business and strive to be the best! Due to there being no snow in Jackson Hole we have resorted... More
