I recently went on a family trip to Jackson Hole, and my brother-in-law booked a 2 hour trail ride for our group at Mill Iron Ranch. The guides were very reassuring to everyone in our group, appealing to every level of experience. Additionally, on the the way up, our guide pointed out several deer and evidence of bears and elk... I have had the pleasure of going to Mill Iron Ranch several times. Every time I go to Jackson I try to go out to the ranch for a ride and an awsome steak dinner. I tell everyone who is going to Jackson Hole / Jackson to make a special point to go out there for the ride and dinner.... More

A little ways from the city and worth every penny. The people were great and the views were super. The cowboys matched the horses with the skill level of the riders which was great because I was an experienced rider.

What a trip. Stunning scenery the highlight of our trip to Jackson. Horses and rancher guides too notch. And topped off with one the better steaks I have eaten, if a little too big. Stand out evening

My family of four had an excellent experience with the Mill Iron Ranch from booking our 2 hour horseback riding trip to the best steak dinner at the end of our ride. The ride up the mountain took us to 8000 feet after climbing 2200 feet. The views were spectacular. The horses were well trained. This is a must for... More

This place is fantastic! Our guides were super friendly, very attentive, and informative. The ride up the hill through the forest was AMAZING but it was the view from the top of the Tetons and surrounding valleys that blew us all away. And, once up there, our guides even rearranged the horses (no mean feat on a mountaintop) so as... More

This is a family run ranch dedicated only to horses. It is located at the base of the Horse Creek Valley, surrounded by the Hoback Mountains. The horse back ride will take you up 2000 feet, to a place with an amazing aerial view. You can see the Teton Mountains, the suburbs of Jackson Hole and the Snake River. The... More

At the suggestion of a former Jackson resident that rides horses regularly, we chose to do the two hour trail ride with Mill Iron Ranch. We are so thankful that we heeded her suggestion. We drove about 12 miles outside of Jackson to the Mill Iron Ranch, a family owned business. The setting is beautiful. My family of four (two... More
