My wife and I have been coming to JH for a winter vacation for over 20 yrs. This year we wanted to do things that we have not done before, The Mill Iron Ranch sleigh ride and dinner was the type of experience we were looking for. Although we did a sleigh ride / dinner at Teton Village years ago;... More

We did the winter sleigh ride this last trip to Jackson. We had done the Solitude Ride before but learned this trip that the cabin had burned down. Looking at options, the hotel recommended Mill Iron Ranch, and it was so much better than Solitude. The family that runs this little piece of heaven is what makes the visit that... More

These guys are the best! Just good old folks! Colby was an excellent guide and we spotted many elk and mule dear on our sleigh ride. Kim was a most gracious host. The steaks were delicious and cooked just right. The whole family were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Even Stoley the French bull was hilarious... More

We are locals and just finally had the chance to Visit Mill Iron Ranch. Took the Sleigh ride and had a great dinner. Great family owned operation, and lots of local history. We will be regulars now, and bring all our visitors!

Mill Iron Ranch has top notch guides that work to make you a winner every time you hunt with them. My husband has hunted Elk with them twice each time bagging a great bull and my grandson who is age 14 bagged a good buck with them this year. Chancey and Coby are terrific guides and Ms. Kim is a... I've been riding my whole life, so I'm picky about riding experiences. Mill Iron is a 5th generation REAL Wyoming ranch, set in the middle of the national forest, with GREAT HORSES, well taken care of and easy to ride. We went up the mountain for an incredible view of the Snake River Valley. Our guide was a family member.... More

First let me start by saying last year we took a horseback tour with another operation out of Jackson WY and the two operations do not even compare. We arrived at Mill Iron early and after a short wait and a signed release we were ready for the tour. The guides match you up to a horse for your ride.... More

As an avid trail rider when on vacation I try to book a trail ride in the area. I booked a two hour ride at Mill Iron Ranch. Even though I get to see new scenery, most of the guided rides I have been on are boring. That definitely was not the case at Mill Iron Ranch. The horses were... More

Did the morning ride with coby one of the best rides I have been on.they start by matching you up with the right horse which are very well trained. You go up 2000 ft to a great view of the Jackson hole area . If you do this ride you must take a camera the pictures will be great. Hopefully... More

This place is simply outstanding, The ride was spectacular (there was even a rainbow when we got on top!), the dinner was delicious (Get the steak. Just do it.), and the family running the entire operation (for five generations!) could not have been nicer and more hospitable. They even had a birthday cake and candles, since it was my birthday.... More
