Dave and Jill run this company. You get a true outdoor backpacking experience (except the llamas carry the gear!) The food and camp setup are all taken care of by the guides. The food is awesome and it's a great way to get away from the radio and tv. Hiking the background with these very experienced hosts is the way... More

Let a llama carry your gear. Let Jill and Hodge of Jackson Hole Llamas be your guides and you'll experience the back country in a uniquely fabulous way. Jill and Hodge are extremely professional and very personable. And having your own llama for the trip adds a heartwarming dimension to your experience. We discovered Jackson Hole LLamas in 2010 when... More

This trip is far more than just an elegant, engaging, safe, exciting, luxurious trip into the back country. To spend time with Dave and Jill is the equivalent of taking the most in depth course study in all things Teton. The never ending search for authenticity ends here. Dave and Jill and their beautiful and hard-working crew of llamas will... More

There are three ways into the backcountry - backpacking but that's too much like hard work at our age 60+; on horseback but horses are such high maintenance; or packing with llamas - you walk while they carry your gear. The latter is by far the best, both comfortable and relaxing. Jill and Dave run wonderful trips into the Tetons... More

Bring along your childlike enthusiasm for identifying flowers, berries, mountain peaks, along with your willingness to enjoy a GREAT ADVENTURE!!! We walked and walked and ate and climbed and soaked in springs.....and chatted with each other around a beautiful campfire in the evenings. Jill and Dave combine to be a tag team of excellence, with care and consideration for the... More

We booked a 3-day llama trek with this outfit and from start to finish, the whole experience was a pleasure. We were provided with detailed instructions on what to bring and in turn, we requested that there be ample food for our five teenage boys. They accommodated our request in spades -- food was amazing! Nutritious, delicious, and ample! These... More
