Booked this cookout so our British friends could get a taste of the Old West and we were not disappointed. After meeting at their office location just outside the town(5 minute drive), the employees guided everyone onto various covered wagons. We formed a wagon train and went into the woods arriving at a covered pavilion where food was set up... More

We went here with our extended family. All of us had young children ranging in ages from 2-12. We all had a great time and all the kids were entertained! We were worried about the weather as it was pretty chilly the night we went, but they had plenty of blankets and were greeted by heaters and hot chocolate. The... More

Visited Jackson on our tour through National Parks with Archers Cosmos (excellent tour). Took up this optional excursion. Travelling in horse drawn covered wagons from Jackson town into the Cache Creek Canyon. Chased, then surrounded by Indians on horseback as we pulled into ‘camp’ where we had a tasty barbecue buffet meal washed down with riotous entertainment from the mountain... More

I think the only reason we stayed for the entire experience was because there was no way to leave. Food? Best we can say is that "it's edible" - if you're hungry. Their "famous" baked beans were probably canned and doctored. The "dinner roll" was stale (and they don't have real butter). The beef was swimming in tasteless "gravy" and... More

By far, this was one of our family's most memorable, fun experiences of our visit to Jackson Hole! The chuck wagon dinner was a great family activity and well worth the cost. We met at the BarT5 Corral in town and rode the Belgian horse pulled covered wagons into the canyon along the creek to our dinner and show destination... More

If you need to fill some time this is a fun experience, especially for seniors and children. But it is not a history lesson. The information given through fun performances on Native American scalping was inaccurate & really needs some re-thinking.

A 2 mile ride on a covered chuck wagon with soft seats and pneumatic tyres started this evening entertainment. Surprise "attacks" by a mountain man and by Indians (native Americans) added to the excitement. The meal comprised of chicken, beef, salad, bread, and beans, with a choice of water, juice, coffee, or hot chocolate. No alcohol! Live interactive entertainment kept us... More

The ride by covered wagon was great. The actors and performers were entertaining. The food was way better than expected! Great beans and 'Blondies'. The disappointing part was our wagon driver, Rachel. She was NOT knowledgeable about the area or anything else for that matter. We felt cheated by having her for our 'guide'.

I just experienced a great covered wagon ride into the national forest filled with great fun, food, music, and a wonderful group of cowboys who made us feel right at home. Jackson drove our wagon. The horses were name Smith and Wesson. He was so informative about how these horses are trained and had a great sense of humor. The... More

We went there for business but this is more of a family atmosphere. The whole thing is a little hokie but still fun. The staff works hard and puts on a fun western music show. The food is delicious but eat it fast as the cool weather makes it cold fast. Would recommend bringing a jacket. They provide blankets though... More
