Clearly the staff and actors here are very warm, gracious, and genuine. However, the story really portrays all the characters as kind of extreme offensive stereotypes. Obviously, the setting of the play (gold rush era) was a different time. However, we spent the hour after the play talking to our kids about why women aren't stupid floozies, etc. I cannot... More

We had a great time at the playhouse. The food was really good. We enjoyed the show. The cast did a great job.

The food was good, the dessert was great. The actors as waiters and dinner entertainers (singing while they worked) were excellent. We'd already paid $60 per person for dinner and the play, so it was a little awkward that they make the actors beg for more ($9 per person suggested dinner tip!) In Paint Your Wagon the acting and singing... More

Awesome nostalgia. Employees dress in period garb. Well played! Go for drinks if the show is not on.

Bought tickets at the last minute based on other reviews, but was quite disappointed. Overpriced, run down, crowded seating. Many moved to the side seats just so they could see. Pre show was in the lobby which couldn't fit everyone, so many viewed through the windows from outside. Odd. Only good part was the actors' singing. Very talented. We'll stick... More

I'm so glad we visited this playhouse. The acting was superb and the set was very creative!! We saw "Paint Your Wagon" and everyone in our family (15 and up) enjoyed it. My review takes away one "star" due to the food. The steaks were huge, but not very tasty, and the trout was not prepared as described. I'd still... More

Great fun - added bonus is the food they prepare for dinner is excellent. Typically this type of dinner show is average when it comes to food. Hats off to the chef!

Our family added this (Paint Your Wagon) to our trip and thoroughly enjoyed the play. The talent at the Jackson Hole Playhouse was super! Our kids (ages 11 & 13) loved the play too. It was such a fun family outing and we even had the bonus of seeing the actors in the Jackson Hole 4th of July Parade and... More

We went to the Playhouse the third day in our trip, it was so much fun. We had the dinner theater package which included the play. They had singing waiters and waitresses and a lovely meal! If you didn't want the dinner package they offer a great concession stand at intermission. The concession orders are taken before the show begins... More

When we travel my husband and I like to scout local community theater productions. When I saw the ad for the Jackson Hole Playhouse and its production of "Paint Your Wagon" I immediately ordered tickets. We figured it would be a nice break from sightseeing in the Tetons and Yellowstone, but didn't expect much. That was definitely wrong. There's nothing... More
