We only went for the play, not the dinner. We come from an area that has 5 excellent little community theaters, so perhaps I'm spoiled. Or maybe it was the play itself that didn't appeal to me., Paint Your Wagon has a few good songs, but overall is quite dated. There were some very good voices in the cast, particularly... More

By far the best highlight of our trip in Jackson. These people love what they do and it's an incredibly fun evening!

Paint Your Wagon. Play was so entertaining. We laughed out loud. The acting was great. We did the whole dining experience where you eat dinner before the show and the actors are your servers and they do a little singing as you eat. SKIP Dinner and just come for he show. Actors are nice but the food isn't worth the... More

To be honest, I thought this was going to be a hokey night spent with bad acting. How wrong was I! We had a great time at the Playhouse. I don't usually like people standing around and singing when I am eating, but the acts were not intrusive at all.The actors are very talented and very welcoming. The food was... More

Well done musical with lots of strong voices and personalities. Loved the quaintness of the theatre. The actors were enthusiastic and talented. Hailed from many places.

I was really looking forward to a night at the theater as Jackson is known for the arts. However, the production so amateurish that I thought I was watching an elementary school program. My wife asked me not to write this, however, I told her an honest critique might improve the next persons experience.

From the fabulous pianist to the outstanding actors, this old-time playhouse never disappoints. Featuring clever choreography, powerful vocals, intimate set and over the top talent, "Paint Your Wagon" was the total theater experience. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

This was our third visit to the Playhouse and it just gets better every time. Dinner was excellent and the actors/servers were very enjoyable. They are also the ones doing the daily Town Square shootout...hard workin folk. The play was Paint Your Wagon and it lasted about 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission. The actors line up to meet...
