This tour was the highlight of my November 2011 trip to Jackson Hole. It was a surreal experience to be given binoculars and to be driven to sites where we could see caribou, bison, and wolves. The guide was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, as well as the history, of this gorgeous part of the country. She answered... More

I took the tour with a number of other people. We visited some of the Grand Tetons and then headed to Yellowstone with Sean. All along the way it seemed like it was too crowded and filled with busloads of tourists but Sean knew to take us a few minutes and a few feet from all of the crowds to... More

Our very knowledgeable guide Kevin Taylor found bugling elk, brown (black) bear, 4 moose, antlered mule deer, antelope and bison - all in 4 hours in a sunrise expedition (end of September). We could not have asked for more. In addition he was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about everything - history, geology, wildlife, plants - you name it. He... More

We recently went on a Sunset Expedition with Erik as our guide. What a wonderful experience we had. Erik picked us up at our hotel and couldn't have been more welcoming. He is so knowledgeable and explained to us how to spot wildlife from a distance, where as before we were just concentrating on close range animals. But because of... More

We were so fortunate to have our travel agent suggest that we use the Teton Science School as our guide of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone . We were doubly blessed to have Jean Lawrence assigned to take us on two trips . Jean is a superb guide with tons of experience . We took a sunrise tour of the... More

Our sunset expedition, led by Kimber was a wonderful experience. We had house guests and wanted them to experience the views and wildlife of the area. Kimber knew just where to take us and we saw bison (they are placid beasts and will let you get close for photos), antelope, and a large racked elk guarding his harem from other... More

It feels good when "locals" recommend Teton Science Schools to their house guests. We are proud to be trusted by the community as great educators and stewards of our valley and the national parks. Kimber does just that educates and facilitates an understanding and appreciation of our public lands. We are fortunate and not a day goes by without recognizing... More

Four of us took a sunrise safari with the inimitable Jessie Stirling in early September, and we couldn't have had a better time. We saw 5 (or, as we later decided because of the calf, 4.5) moose within the first hour, and went on to spend the next several hours with pronghorn and bison on Antelope Flats. Jessie's wealth of... Please do come back! With all of the experiences that you had in 4 hours with Jessie, just imagine a multiday expedition. Jessie takes great pride in the program she leads. She is energetic and passionate; add her knowledge into the mix and we couldn't be more proud. Thank you for sharing your story with us. - Jared B. More

We have been using TSS Wild Expeditions for the last 7 years and we've never been disappointed, on Sept 12th we had Jean for a full day tour around grand teton and it was great, the wild life (bears) were not really cooperating except for the moose, the thrill of the day was 2 bull and 1 cow moose at... A memorable trip that delivered everything we hoped for. Jean has an intimate knowledge of the wildlife and history of the Grand Teton area and kept us engaged for the whole Discovery trip. She enabled us to see moose, bison, pronghorn deer, bald eagles, cranes and other birds because she knew where to look. The van was ideal for photography... More

We feel Jean Lawrence is definitely a “keeper”. She has the eyes of an eagle and her knowledge of the flora and fauna was flawless. We were her only clients on the September 10, 2014 Discovery Expedition trip (Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks) which turned out to be an unexpected blessing. She is personable and, in our opinion, went... More
