We took a snow cat tour into yellowstone with TSS. Our guide was Tom Arnold. He was great. Very polite and informative. We got a great yellowstone education. The van with the mattracks was pretty cool. The ride was a little slow. But any faster and we would have missed all of the wildlife-squirrels, beavers, swans, ducks, bison, elk, fox,... More

My wife and I just finished a wonderful day with Sarah Ernest with the Science School. What a great day with the best guide. Sarah was informative, energetic and fun. We got the opportunity to see so many animals including wolves, coyotes, elk, deer, moose, trumpeter swans, mountain sheep, and prong-horn antelope. Seeing wolves was very exciting as they seldom... We took the Sunset trip and got to see Elk, Bald Eagles, Big Horn Sheep, Mule Deer, Moose and the most amazing 3 big Bison just walking down the road right by our van. The climax of the trip was getting to see the school and all the fantastic specimens of animals collected over the last 100 years. Our guide... More

Trip guide Tom Arnold gave a wonderful presentation on the winter ecology of Yellowstone National Park. We learned so much. He also created a welcoming atmosphere so all on the trip got to know each other.

My son and I recently spent a fabulous day with Sarah, one of the Teton Science School's wildlife guides, touring the Elk Refuge and the Teton forest. We learned more about wildlife, flora and fauna in one day than I think either of us had collectively in all our days. Our day included sighting various wildlife, snowshoeing through the forest... Our guide was Sarah Ernst. Now, here is a gal who is passionate and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the Greater Teton area. If you are looking for a pleasant day in the back country and seeing all kinds of wildlife, please consider a tour with the Teton Science Schools. It was wonderful. Thank you Sarah!

This week I had the pleasure of going on a half day Sunrise Expedition and a full day Wildlife Discovery Expedition, both led by Sarah Ernst. Sarah is very passionate about the area, the wildlife, and her enthusiasm is contagious. I have taken various trips with Teton School of Science over the past 9 years and was delighted to be... Everything its cracked up to be. We took the winter day trip to Old Faithful. Owen, the guide was great, very knowledgeable. Excellent job on breakfast and lunch. I'd be hard pressed to find anything bad to say about this. Really enjoyed getting to know the other passengers from Gig Harbor, Washington, Lake Park, Iowa, and Summerfield, N. Carolina. The... Having just been in Yellowstone in summer and being so blown away by the experience, I was keen to come back in winter. The park is only open to tour companies in winter because of the conditions on the roads, most of which are closed. We chose this tour because it goes from the south entrance, since we are on...
