We thoroughly enjoyed a day-long trip to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Our guide, Drew, was so knowledgeable about the geology, ecology and wildlife of Yellowstone and the Tetons. Every request was fulfilled including finding a grizzly bear feeding on a moose! The parks in winter are extreme in their beauty and solitude. It was a long but spectacular experience.... More

The tour can go up to approximately 12 hours long--mostly due to being on the snow coach. The vehicle can only go about 20 mph. It was still nice to see Yellowstone still mostly covered in snow. My husband and I could not still believe that we drove on the same road when we went there one summer. Our guide,... More

I had always wanted to visit Yellowstone in winter. I guess that one could say it was on my bucket list. My husband and I booked the all day trip to Old Faithful. Owen was an absolutely perfect guide and host. We got a top notch education that day on the Tetons and Yellowstone. What I really appreciated about this... More

Great experience. Drew was knowledgeable and friendly, and the group was small so we each got a very personal experience. Will use this service next time I visit the area.

Sarah E. was the guide for the half-day morning wildlife tour. She is absolutely top notch. I have gone on a number the naturalist-led tours over the years, and this experience was the most informative. Seeing a bald eagle through the spotting scope was awesome. I would highly recommend a tour with the Science Schools. My only regret is not... More

Our guide, Tom A., was absolutely the perfect host and gentleman! Very knowledgeable on the geology, flora & fauna in all respects. The scenery and wildlife were the best! W.E.'s snow coach was most excellent! The drive from Jackson to Yellowstone and into the park itself is a necessary but long day. Be prepared for some snooze time, and perhaps... More

We took a snow cat tour into yellowstone with TSS. Our guide was Tom Arnold. He was great. Very polite and informative. We got a great yellowstone education. The van with the mattracks was pretty cool. The ride was a little slow. But any faster and we would have missed all of the wildlife-squirrels, beavers, swans, ducks, bison, elk, fox,... More

My wife and I just finished a wonderful day with Sarah Ernest with the Science School. What a great day with the best guide. Sarah was informative, energetic and fun. We got the opportunity to see so many animals including wolves, coyotes, elk, deer, moose, trumpeter swans, mountain sheep, and prong-horn antelope. Seeing wolves was very exciting as they seldom... We took the Sunset trip and got to see Elk, Bald Eagles, Big Horn Sheep, Mule Deer, Moose and the most amazing 3 big Bison just walking down the road right by our van. The climax of the trip was getting to see the school and all the fantastic specimens of animals collected over the last 100 years. Our guide... More

Trip guide Tom Arnold gave a wonderful presentation on the winter ecology of Yellowstone National Park. We learned so much. He also created a welcoming atmosphere so all on the trip got to know each other.
