I have to say we enjoyed a great guide, wonderful scenery, exciting rafting trip and an excellent dinner. We would definitely do this trip again and recommend it to others. Suitable for really young kids (a boy about 8 rode the front of the raft over some rapids and loved it), teens, young adults and older than 60 as well. more

We had a group of 8, and we got our own boat, and a great guide Jim "Stackhouse". He was very professional and experienced, but more importantly he made it fun for everyone. We paid a little extra for the steak dinner 4PM trip and it was well worth it. The highlight of our trip. more

We had a family reunion in Jackson and decided that we would all (18 of us) go on a boat trip. The Mad River people were very accommodating and helpful. Our first rafting trip with kids (age 10 and 13), and despite the high, early-summer volume, which provided plenty of thrills, our experienced guide of 14 years made the trip very safe. I got to paddle, the kids hung at the front, and we enjoyed hearing stories about the river from our guide. more
