This was our first experience with any rafting (let alone WHITEWATER!!) and we enjoyed it tremendously!! We signed up for the early bird timeslot that includes breakfast. Breakfast included: eggs, bacon, muffins, potatos, juice and coffee. There was enough to be satisfied with and then they allowed second helpings after everyone was served. It was chilly and rainy that morning... more

We checked with several rafting companies and decided to go with Lewis and Clark because they seemed to be the most professional (I have twin seven year olds and a ten year old who were ready for giant, twisting, vortexes of water but my overall goal was safety, safety, safety) The sign-up was smooth and fast. We put the younger... more

My family of four adults took the 4:30 white water trip with Aaron Sunday, June 28 2009. We booked a smaller raft but due to high water & limited staff we were in a raft of 15 and the 2.5 hr. booking only lasted 1:15. L&C informed us of same at check-in, and compensated with discount equivalent of free wetsuit... more

I took my family here for their first rafting experience. We drove several hundred miles to get there that day for our 4:30 booking. I had booked a "small raft" trip because I had wanted my family's first rafting experience to be more intimate that being packed in like sardines on a massive raft. When we arrived to check in... more

We did the 8:00 AM "early bird special." TOTALLY worth it. You get a free hot breakfast of eggs, bacon and potatoes... PLUS you get a discounted rate of about $12 off per person. All the Jackson whitewater companies do the same river section... L&C had a great price, great perks, and Aaron was a great guide. more

The staff and guides at Lewis and Clark were exceptional. This was our first rafting trip and our guide Gavin was great. It was a great comfort being on a trip with an experienced guide who also had knowledge of the surrounding area. I would book with the company again!!! I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff was more

Went on the 'Float Trip' with our guide/rower aaron. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out the various wildlife haunts and nests on route. we moored up on a littel island in the middle of the river and had an excellent light lunch. The whole trip was great fun. We were actually meant to go the day before, but as... more

We took the 4:30 trip with dinner. Our raft guide Gavin was great, and explained a lot of the river mechanics before we got to each rapid, so we hit all of them perfect and got a wild ride. Office personnel were great too. Dinner was good (recommend the salmon but not the beef), but we felt bad as there... more

We have been visiting Jackson Hole for years in the summer and the highlight is always our rafting trip with Lewis and Clark River Expeditions. Over the years, we have experienced almost all of the trips offered by Lewis and Clark, and enjoyed them equally. Safety is always the first priority with the guides and usually a good dose of... more
