We booked a 4.30 summer expedition with 30 or so people that included dinner. We arrived 30 minutes early to sign paperwork and get wetsuits that came free for kids 12 & under. They also supply splash jackets at the river but don't be fooled. They will keep the breeze off, but you will get very wet. We took a... More

We called Lewis & Clark early on a Sunday morning (before normal business hours) hoping to get booked on a scenic float trip later in the day. James arranged for an extra raft for the day's late trip and we were booked. Colin then provided an excellent tour with all sorts of great information and fun. We saw 21 bald... More

I wasted much time obsessing over the fear factor involved in this expedition. I wasted more time worrying over how to dress and what to pack. So learn from my over-reaction, book this and then enjoy it. In town office: Easy to find and pretty smooth check-in. Gavin - our guide: Safety minded, mature and extremely knowledgeable describing rock formations,... More

While visiting Jackson Hole for a conference we tool advantage of an afternoon rafting trip. While a bit spendy, it was a great trip. Gavin was our guide. Based on his life experiences, he must be 150 years old, but he kept the trip fun and entertaining. He pointed out several eagles and other wildlife. The company came highly recommended... More

This was our first whitewater rafting experience and Gavin made it very enjoyable. The Snake River is beautiful and the rapids were fun. I highly recommend Lewis and Clark River Expeditions.

If you're looking for a great adventure through the Rapids, request a small boat tour with Luke as your guide! I'm traveling with my father (63) and brother (30) and we all got the rush we were looking for! We had a very memorable trip:)

So much fun!! We did our research and picked Lewis &Clark-- could not have been happier with our experience. Having 4 kids between our 2 families ranging in age from 10-14-- we wanted some thrills. We reserved the small 8 person boat-- which seems to be their premier product for fun on the river-- 6 paddle positions and the ability... More

Absolutely an unforgettable experience!! Our guide, Joe , was outstanding and all the support people couldn't have been any nicer and extremely helpful. This is our second trip with Lewis & Clark and we definitely raft with them again when we're in the Jackson Hole area. We especially LOVED the 8-person rafting experience. Their great people with a very personalized... More

We chose a combination float trip and white water rafting trip. In the morning our guide was Luke and he was awesome! He was funny and provided lots of info about the area. He also found all the spots where the Bald Eagles were including a momma and both babies. It was the first time he had ever seen that!... More

We booked a two person rafting trip in the afternoon the day before our trip upon arriving in Jackson. In the night my husbands foot became very swollen and painful. This was a end to a very short trip in Jackson Hole. I called first thing in the morning to explain the emergency and was told "Sorry there are no... More
