My husband and I enjoyed our visit. He is an artist so I felt we were a little more "into" it than some would be. They have a play area for kids but it is small and most kids would be hard to keep entertained (I think). Overall, it is a beautiful place and very educational. more

We stopped by here really fast out of town because a guide on our river trip had recommended the lunch too. It is a beautiful view with some great exhibits and the lunch was good too. more

We visited the National Museum of Wildlife Art during our recent visit to Jackson, Wyoming. The museum was very impressive with an extensive collection of wildlife art. My husband is not very artsy but he suggested we go based on the outside of the building which is located on the side of a mountain with multiple bronze sculptures outside -... more

As others have stated, beautiful collection and a gorgeous building. The artwork calls attention to humans' relationship with the wild and our changing ideas of that relationship. Most of the pieces reflect Western wildlife. I do hope that they branch out to include wildlife that's not limited to the region, though. If the museum is to have a national mission,... more

If you love wildlife and artwork of wildlife, do not miss this Museum. It is hands down one of the best museums of this type I have ever seen. Great gift shop. The building is beautiful and blends wells into the landscape. Don't miss it. more

Visiting this museum was one of the highlights of our trip to "Cowboy Country." We were fortunate to catch the Remington and Russell show, which was wonderfully catalogued...as was all of the Museum's collection. In retrospect, we prefered this museum--both the collection and the building itself--to the art museum that's part of the Cody Historical Center. There is a wonderful... more

If you are going into Yellowstone or the Tetons you must stop at the National Museum of Wildlife Art outside Jackson across from the elk reserve. It is a beautiful building made out of native rock and is artfully camouflaged into the hillside above the road. The collection is awesome and you will be so inspired by the history of... more

We enjoyed our morning at the Museum of Wildlife Art. The building itself is a work of art. So are the views from inside and out. The displays are wonderful, paintings, sculpture, and artifacts. They have a very nice gift shop inside. Worth taking the time to visit. more
