It would be easy as a tour guide, a volunteer for the Jackson hole historical society leading walking tours of Jackson in the summertime, to find fault with the outrageous corniness of this tour, but the driver/guide's energy and knowledge and the ground covered all but overcomes the goofiness of sound effects or loops, bad puns and disorganization of his... I appreciate every review and the time it takes to write and send one. I do wish this would have been more timely so I would have been able to react during our season. Our tour is fun- yes, sometimes slightly corny, but we have riders from babies to great grandparents so we try to keep everything family friendly. I... More

Pricey trolley tour for the info provided. Guides seem to do the best they can with a limited amount of "interesting" information about Cody. Guides were excited and provided a good "show", but actual, historical and interesting information was limited. Lots of driving around and around town. Maybe there just isn't enough historical and interesting stuff for a good trolley... More

Of course I disagree with this 100%. Our tour is not JUST an historical tour, nor is it advertised that way. We give a condensed history of Buffalo Bill and how he founded or time, AND we provide an excellent overview of Cody and all the town offers to our visitors. For a one hour investment, you see the highlights... More

This is a good way to hear how Cody started, from humble beings to present day. The history is obviously based on Bill Cody and how he started with building just a hotel. The hotel called the Irma still exists and is a vibrant today as it was over a hundred years ago. The tour also takes you to the... More

We have travelled far and wide and this is the best city tour we have taken. There was humour, interest and first hand commentary from very knowledgeable guides. Can be thoroughly recommended and will not fill your day up but give a flavour of other things to see.

Going on the tour was a spur of the moment decision for me and I went alone because my husband was shopping in downtown Cody. The tour was highly informative and interesting and I am so glad that I did not miss it. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Cody Wyoming.

This tour was about an hour in length, the tour guide and trolley driver interacted in a funny, informative way. This was an excellent way to learn more about Cody. The tour had been recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Well worth the price

great way to hear the history of the town of Cody, we took this trolley just before visiting the museum and gave us a good base to build on.

We learned a lot about the town and the area and its history. Small town and we passed some of the same buildings more than once. Still, we learned a lot about Cody that we wouldn't have had we not taken the tour.

Thought this was overpriced for the hour ride. Most of the time is spent going through neighborhoods of Cody with a little history of the town as you go. Neither of us were very impressed. Guides did a good job with the history but it wasn't really what either of us thought we would see.

Not very good value, however this is the only trolley tour in town so there is no other choice. Didn't really see the point of going around the residential area and just seem to be filling time. We enjoyed hearing about the history and seeing the old pictures. Didn't like the false showmanship and trying to bounce off both driver... More

Sorry you didn't like the tour. Of course I disagree with your assessment and would point readers to the other review written the same day.
