We left Yellowstone National Park to spend a couple of nights in Cody to go to the rodeo and the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. The Buffalo Bill Center of the West alone is worth the trip to Cody. Allow at least a day to visit this first-rate museum! One day was enough for me but we still didn't... More

The museum is quite a bit larger than we realized. It's exhibits range from art to wildlife to natural history to guns - all of which were very interesting. Then we watched the live bird show which included a great horned owl, turkey vulture, and red tail hawk. The entire family enjoyed the museum and it was a great way... More

The Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody is incredible. This is better than any Plains Indian museum, plus the firearms are amazing. It has a little something for everyone. They recently redid the entire museum and it is amazing.

What's not to like about Buffalo Bill Museum. There is something for everyone. My personal favorite is the Yellowstone section which was beautifully done. The weapons sections was amazing as well. You can spend days in there and not get it completely covered. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Cody.

Have been to this museum many times as past of a dude ranch visit in the area.. Each year there was something new to see. A great wild west museum and if you are into guns...it has one of the largest guns collections I've have ever seen. A definite "must visit" if you are in the Cody,WY area.

The firearms, the artwork, the history--this was worth the time and effort to get here! Custers Last Stand and the Remington's are must sees!!!

Our family visited this museum while there was some festival going on. The highlight for my children was learning to lasso with the cowboy in the atrium. The cowboy art held less appeal. It would have taken a long time to get through all of it!

This is a great museum about the old west. Every wing held new treasures and great information. Loved the Plains Indian wing and the Guns of the West was great. Never a dull moment!

I've been to this museum at least 15 times over the years since it was just the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show wing. Now it's five museums in one! The complex rivals the Smithsonians in Washington, but it's all wild west in Cody! Be sure to allow at least most of one day to cover everything. This really is like... More
