We had a fantastic time at the Buffalo Bill Center! Because of time, I only visited two of the five museums this time - the Natural History Museum, and the Art Museum. The Natural History Museum is interactive and very fun. There are lots of activities for children as well. I learned a lot about the biology and natural history... More

There are five museums under one canopy here and you need at least two days to really appreciate all this museum offers. Do not go to the Gun Museum first or you will not see the other museums--it is awesome and you will find it hard to leave--you need to see the Plains Museum, the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum, which... We spent a couple of hours at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and came away with a World Class education of the West. If you are traveling through this area, make sure you dedicate at least half a day to this museum. There is much to learn. The Center contains art, artifacts as well as a great deal... More

Something for everyone, from great western art, to native american historical artifacts, to loads of information about the life and times of Buffalo Bill Cody, to a museum of firearms, to a chuckwagon demonstration of beans, biscuits and coffee. Military and senior discounts!

Lots of neat exhibits for all to chose from! You pay for one day and are able to be admitted into the museum for two days! It is definitely worth the visit!

Love it her. They have everything! Kids loved it too. Natural history, art and entertainment. Beautiful setting. We loved the Russell's, Wyeth s and Remington's. Give yourself enough time.

Nice place. Learned a lot here. Also enjoyed the program with the bird/raptor rescue program. The golden eagle was beautiful. Little bit pricey, but enjoyed anyway.

We went here thinking it was about Buffalo Bill. Well, it is plus much, much more. We spent 4 hrs. and could easily have stayed longer. In addition to an amazing Buffalo Bill exhibit with wonders from his heyday including Annie Oakley's gun and outfits, there is also the Cody Firearms Museum, Draper Natural History Museum which explains the marvels... Man what a surprise this place was. In the little town of Cody Wyoming is this wonderful museum depicting many aspects of western life and culture. I had looked on the internet and had seen that there was a museum in Cody having to do with Buffalo Bill. Frankly I was expecting a one room place a lot like a... More
