The collection is very vast and well organized by different time periods in history and also by manufacturer.

It was neat to see ALL the firearms in this Museum. While my daughter and I weren't totally into it, my husband and boys really enjoyed it. It's very organized and easy to walk through the history of guns.

We stumbled upon this museum when walking downtown. It's not on the main street. It's very interesting place to go. My husband enjoyed it a lot! It was free. They have a donation jar there if you wish to donate but we were not pressured to donate. The young girl that was there was very good at her job. Definitely... More

My husband wanted to go to the Firearm Museum, if nothing else. We went to the Buffalo Bill Museum ~ it is six sections. All were completely wonderful! You could spend a week in the museum and never be bored. Very NICE!

This had to be the highlight of my time in the Museum of the West. I am a HUGH James Arness fan and Marsall Dillon's gun is on loan to the Cody Firearms Museum. There are many other legends of the west, or B Westerns that are displayed here as well. My husband is the gun guy in the family... More

We only had 2 hours to go through the museum. Well, we only made it to the gun museum. I have never seen anything like this. It was one of the best presentations of guns of all kinds from all places and times in history to present that i have ever seen. I didn,t even have enough time to finish... More

This is a really interesting museum. Even if you're not a fan of guns, it is the history of modern civilization told through the arms that created it. We were surprised how far back modern firearms trace their heritage. Plus, you get entry into four other museums all for one price. Great value!

Magnificent!!! There is something for everyone in this museum! The firearm collection will take your breath away as will all of the exhibits and art celebrating the Golden Age of the American West. This is a must see on your western trip itinerary!
