Great for the gun enthusiast. Fine for families. Worth it for me buy may not be cup of tea for all. However, it was right next to the Buffalo Bill center so probably worth it even if you are only tacitly interested in firearms.

More guns than you can imagine in one place including guns that were owned by presidents and movie stars. Everything is Very well documented and labeled. Shows the history of firearms in the United States as they evolved from the early settlers to the arms that won us our independence and the ones that have kept us free.

Very interesting even to a gun novice. The only thing I would've liked to have had more of in the museum was the history of the different companies. Not just... More

This exhibit is well executed, highly professionally done but after visiting room after room of firearms I felt like I was in overload. My hubby loved it though. When we visited the Smithsonian Firearms exhibit was also located in the basement with its thousands more of firearms. Whoa.....

I am professionally related to firearms so visit in this museum was on my priority list for Cody. The collection of historical, American guns is very impressive. Some of the specimens are very rare and all of them are very well preserved. The museum is nicely decorated and it may be considered as a part of Bill Cody Center of... More
