There is just about every Firearm know to Man in this collection. You will not be able to look at and read about them all. So don't even Try. Plan to take it slow and return to see more the next time. It's a Great History Lesson mixed with Beautifully manufactured Weapons.

The Buffalo Bill Fire Arms Museum collection has guns from every single major United states war, not including the Revolutionary war. They had some from The Civil War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam, Korea, and some modern day guns. This was especially my place because ever since I was three, I loved history, and guns. This museum is... More

So many guns! Neatly displayed in interesting categories. We really loved the fancy embellished guns and the ones that are simply weird designs.

This is the holy grail for a gun enthusiast. It's the largest collection I've ever seen. Right at home in the Wild West.

This place is flat amazing. An unbelievable collection. Just piles and piles of extremely rare firearms. We are talking firearms so rare that they were produced in runs measured in the tens, instead of the millions. Some example is they have a complete collection of Gyrojet manufactured weapons. Not one, but two examples of semi-automatic revolvers, and just rows after... More

This was the last of the five museums of the Center of the West which we visited on our trip. This was a huge mistake on our part as the collection kept here is enormous. We will be coming back after the first part of 2016 when the collection has been changed up a bit.

We are not firearm buffs, but this was part of a larger complex that had a natural history museum and a museum of the old west and an art gallery. All of them were outstanding. It cost very little. We spent 5 hours there and would have stayed longer if we could. Well worth the time.
