This is a free Old West melodrama on the street in front of the Irma Hotel at 6:00 every night. It lasts about 45 minutes and features actors like Buffalo Bill, Wild Bill Hickok, Wyatt Earp, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance plus other `”local types” all wearing garbs of their character. Of course at the end there is a shootout!... More

While in Cody, be sure to see the gunfight in the street outside the Irma Hotel. Cute, funny skit put on by volunteers. Their acting leaves alot to be desired but, it was alot of fun for the whole family. You can reserve a chair ($2 which goes to charity), stand or sit on the curb. Others sat on the... More

It was a good show for kids but terrible acting all around. The actual show is only about 15minutes long. But it is free. One nice thing is they honor military

This is a short, loosely performed, fun, gun fight. Not serious, not trying to portray some historically significant gunfight, just a lot of fun while in downtown Cody. Money is raised for charity and that is an excellent reason to enjoy a few minutes on the streets of Cody before the rodeo or a meal downtown. Well done and worth your... More

The play has great people in it but if it is windy (like when we went) it is hard to hear the people. But of course all the audience wants to see (& hear) are all the guns going off which they do quite loudly. Great costumes!

We had to stand for the entire event. The costumes and sets were fine. The announcements at the beginning took forever. (we had been standing, holding our place for quite a while.) We could not understand half what the actors were saying, and the acting was pretty sub par. I realize this is for charity, but still it should be... More

When in Cody, be sure to stop and see the Cody gunfighters. You can stand or buy a chair for $2 for the 1/2 performance. The performance contains humor, sexual innuendo, and loud gun pops. For those sitting on the sides (perpendicular to the Irma Hotel), it may be hard for you to hear, so try to choose a spot... More

Our children loved this show right outside the Irma Hotel, however, the actors are volunteers and their acting ability is limited. The actors are super friendly and stayed after the show for pictures. You could purchase a poster that they all signed. The money raised all goes to charity, so it was worth it.

This is a very cute show that should not be missed, even if you do not have children. You can watch with a drink from the Irma. The actors have a great sense of humor. It is nice thing to do before heading out for the Rodeo,

This is an awesome gunfight skit. Historically I'm not sure that Butch Cassidy met up with Buffalo Bill Cody, but that aside, this was great!, Make sure to reserve a seat, it cost only 2$ to reserve a seat and it is standing room only if you haven't reserved your seats. All money made off of reserved seats goes to... More
