If you happen to be at the Alma Hotel/Restaurant on a nice day in Cody in the afternoon, stay around and find a good seat on the back porch of the hotel. The gunslinger show is pretty cute. No fee required unless you want to "buy" your seat for a $2.00 donation to charity. The kids will like it!!!!

I always enjoy this show, funny and entertaining. My only complaint is that it is very hard to hear and understand what they are saying, even if you are up close, maybe a better mic system?

We were eating at the Irma and the kids heard shooting! :) So in Cody, naturally you'd walk right outside and see the gun fight. It was great!

Fun for the kids! Gun shots are really loud. You can get your picture taken with one or more of the actors after the show; Calamity Jane, etc. And it's all to support a good cause!

Yes this is free, yes I know this is not a professional acting troupe but do I need to be asked repeatedly to buy a 3 dollar poster I do not want? I know this is a fundraiser for the towns nightly summer rodeo but to be asked when I paid for my reserved seats and then again by the... More

Just donate the money for the good charitable causes and skip the show and poster. The good news is that it is over in about 15 minutes.

OK so its free and proceeds from the poster sales go to charity, but those are only good things you can say about this 'show'. The first ten minutes is thanking the sponsors and singing the national anthem etc and then the show such as it is starts. It looked like they had never rehearsed together at all and as... More

The show was probably only about 12 minutes long because of all the advertising they did. The characters depicted were of interest cuz they were Buffalo Bill, Custer, Wyatt Earp, Annie Oakley, Calamity Jane, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and a few others, but their microphones weren't on most of the time and even when they were, you couldn't... I had seen the show a couple of years ago and wanted to know if it had improved, but if anything it was worse. All the 'actors' looked bored, especially Calamity Jane and Little Britches and although Buffalo Bill and Fifi tried to keep the show going, it was really embarrassingly bad and very amateurish. The only redeeming factor is... More
