The concept is a good one, but they lose you by the time they get to the real show because they spend too much time selling souveniers. It's difficult to hear but the kids enjoy it!

They spent more time trying to sell posters and seats then the actual gun fight. The acting was poor and hard to hear at times and the actual gun fight was minimal. It was so bad that one of their guns caught on fire and had to be placed on the ground until it quit burning. Nobody could follow what... More

Never complain about free entertainment. The production is very hokey but it was a beautiful day and it was free.

we have traveled all across the West and this is by far the best gunfight show we have seen! Get there early (by 5pm) so you can sit on the shady porch and have something to eat and drink before and during the show.

Well meaning, but the show is poorly acted, lame story line, hard to hear. But how often do you get to see a western "gunfight" in the street?

This little half hour show is free to all. Yes, it's a little "cheesy" to us that live in the west. The actors are not professional, but do a great job and look like they love what they do. It is a must in Cody to stop at the Irma, tour the Hotel, have a drink on the boardwalk, and... More

Spent most of their time running commercials for various businesses in Cody. Speaker system crackled in the wind causing difficulty for those with hearing aids. Talked way to much with too little action, especially to keep kids entertained. Thank God it was free.

This show is put on by a bunch of volunteers so don't expect a professional and slick performance. However, it was great fun and all the money they raised from seat reservations ($2 a seat) goes to local charities so we were more than happy to give them a good round of applause at the end of the show.

The idea of the western show on the street outside the Irma hotel is a good one. The actual show is not. We arrived about 15 minutes before the show and the street 'actors' were standing around smoking on the Irma porch where we were standing. Yuck. You can sit at a table on the porch and order food, stand... More

I thought was a joke. It was historical inaccurate, the "jokes" were horrible and inappropriate, and it was lame. You could not even hear what they were saying and the story made no sense. The weirdest part was in the middle they blasted music (the only thing you could actually hear) and started dancing. They pulled 2 kids from the... More
