Not a must see but a should see.

I had mixed feelings about this. Before we went to Cody my son showed me a clip of the gunfight and the actors were talking about Walmart and other things that did not have... read more

We took our grandsons, ages 10 and 12 to the Cody Gunfighters event and all four of us were disappointed. The sound system had so much static that we couldn't hear for the first 10 minutes. The participants were difficult to understand--garbly talking and many did not have on microphones so it were difficult to understand them at all. About... More

Most old-west ACTUAL gunfights happened from within a distance of 4-5 feet, NOT across a town square, and very rarely over saloon girls. It's not entertaining, it's stupid.

This is a great way to spend some time. This is entirely free unless you want to reserve a seat or buy a poster. The money raised goes to help charities. The guns are loud so it wouldn't be good for children or adults that are sensitive to sound. They started the show off by showing what a blank could... More

We loved it!!! We paid 2.00 for a front roll seat and it was so worth it!! It last quite awhile and you need those seats to relax in. reserve your seats early that day so you can pick a really good seat. The gun fight was so neat!! We really loved it!! It starts at 6:00. Right beside the... More

No storyline-or if there was, we couldn't understand it. The sound system is terrible. The actors take time out of their lives, so they deserve credit for that. It's something to do, but not worth the $2 for a reserved seat.

I had mixed feelings about this. Before we went to Cody my son showed me a clip of the gunfight and the actors were talking about Walmart and other things that did not have anything to do with the West and I told him it seemed lame. While in Cody my son talked us in to going and as I... More

Fun reenactment which takes place on the street next to the famous Irma Hotel. It is a fun bit of relaxation and it is free unless you reserve a chair for $2. We recommend reserving the chair as it will give you a front row seat to the action.

We couldn't really hear what was being said very well. I'm not sure if all the mics were working??? We sat right on the curb so the kids could see. There was a lot of gunfire which was all they were interested in, so we were entertained. It took a while for the "show" to start due to "commercials" for... More

The old grandpa actor told me I was not a good looking woman. He said this while he was walking around the Irma before the show. This ruined it for me.

The show was interesting, kinda cheesy, but the kids liked it. Free entertainment is alway nice to find. Standing room only the night we went.
