We have friends that live in Cody, WY and we always visit them before we go to Sturgis. They suggested Wyoming River rafters. We had the owner Rick as our guide. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Definitely do the two hour ride. It was well worth it. I can now check this off my... More

Highly recommended. Fun for all ages. Thank you Jake. We took the shorter trip (5 miles) - wishing we had paid for the longer one. We will do that one next time for sure.

Jake was the bomb!! Fantastic guide and a lot of fun! The river was pretty mild. It was my first time in white water and it was fun with a little bit of rapids. Thank you for getting my 14 year old who is as smart as he'll ever be WET😊 beautiful scenery, far better than horse back riding along... More

Joe was a great guide who not only kept us alive, but also well informed about what we were seeing - what kind of birds, where the deer were hiding, what kind of rock formations there were, etc. It was a super morning for these grandparents and our 2 pre-teen grandkids. Good lunch made by Mary. Thank you!! Dave, Erika,... More

My husband and I took a great trip down the Shoshone River last week with these folks. They did a super job, engaged the group with lots of stories and history of the area. Only a few places in the river that we got splashed, so any easy ride. My husband has a bad back and it was no problem... More

We went to Cody to take in the Rodeo and stayed over to float with Wyoming River Trips. It's a family owned and operated business that has 40 years rafting on the Shoshone. The staff was friendly and very helpful from check in to fitting life vests through check out. Joe was our raft guide and made sure we got... More

There are many choices in raft trips in this area. Our experience with Wyoming River Trips was excellent. They delivered what was advertised, great guide, good equipment, on time, safe and just plain fun.

Our guide Joe was the best tour guide I've ever had. He was super nice and funny, and constantly kept up conversation. I suggest taking the longer trip. It's worth the extra money for lots more fun rapids.

Pay the extra money and take the longer 12 mile route. There are some great rapids and it will give you more time on the river. Our children got a little restless about 30 minutes from the end but they had a blast. Our guide was incredible- one of the owners son. I felt so safe!
