We had an enjoyable time going thru cases of relic guns and artifacts. The owner told us several stories on where he found these items. It is an amazing collection of historical USA . A must see! Cheryl and Jon Z.

Visited on Mon. 8 - 11 - 2014. Very interesting. Who knew old rusty guns could have so much history. The owners are knowledgable & friendly. Their displays are laid out with care & detail. Take an hour & learn much. Hope to see this museum on the main street in the future. Great for the whole family. No set... More

If you like history and the guns related to that history, don't miss this. He has about 1,000 guns that have been found all over the U.S. With each gun there is a short history of the gun and where it was found. They are all displayed in very nice cases. He also has antique guns for sale on consignment.... More

Found this small museum in downtown Cody. Over 900 firearms - many "dug up" and found in Wyoming. Small enough so it won't take too much time and the owner is very knowledgeable.

This museum has so many cool items! Since I am a big history buff...I love to see the "real stuff". There were so many guns and other items to see. Some of the guns were "frozen in time"...still loaded! The owner's wife was there, and was very helpful and informative. LOVED IT!

We went over after eating at the Irma, 7pm - still open! There's no charge (although donations are welcomed) and the guy that runs this place is awesome. He knows so much, and is truly one of the most interesting people I have met in a long time.

We walked thru one evening and really enjoyed looking at all the neat guns from The Revolutionary War up thru Vietnam. The best part is it was free. Ladies, if you're not into this sort of thing, just send the husband and go shopping. Very convenient, downtown..give them an hour or so to walk thru.

Very interesting. Dug up means exactly what it sounds like. It does not take much figuring what happened to the gun's owner when a revolver was lost fully cocked and a couple of unfired rounds in the cylinder.

My 11 year old son suggested that we visit the Dug Up Gun Museum in Cody, Wyoming on our recent vacation. We were not sure what to expect.. wow! A lot to take in in a small space. We were impressed by the way that it was curated, the approachable and friendly folks working there who answered questions and most... More
