This small but very clever museum is definitely worth a stop. The owner is very knowledgeable and loves to share his collection. This is history at its best! Donation.

It's free for starters. Great museum, very detailed and the owner is very enthusiastic about his collection. They ask for donations. If in Cody stop by and look.

Very interesting collection of artifacts. Detailed descriptions of the items in the collection. You can tell that a lot of time was spent on researching the items.

This museum is a little different in the fact that the guns are not restored, but displayed in the condition that they are found - which is a real treat! Many models of guns are represented along with histories and fun facts! The owner was there when we visited, and his knowledge is phenomenal! If you get the chance, go... More

The guy who runs this place was very friendly and obviously knew what he was talking about. He could explain any of the stories behind the guns to you. The history behind these guns was very cool to discover. He runs simply off of donations and I would recommend it to anyone to check out!

We visited the Cody Dug Up Gun Museum. It was nice to visit, with many guns, alot of them were damaged as it says "Dug Up". Nice to see so many firearms from years gone past. Great History to see.

This is a smaller private collection of firearms that have been found or "dug up". Thus the name. What a collection! I was very impressed. When in Cody, this is a must see. I know I will go back. Located conveniently in the downtown area across from the Irma hotel. What makes this impressive to me is to think that... More

I went with my husband to visit this museum because he enjoys this type of attraction so much! And, he also wanted to see it so he could tell our son-in-laws gun enthusiasts about it--knew they would enjoy! However, I think I enjoyed it as much as he did. It is a small museum but the owner has it arranged... More
