I'm a gun guy, love everything about them. My wife and I visited from Minnesota, and this place is worth a stop. Displays were nice and information from the time periods were very informational, and the guy who runs the place is very knowledgeable. More

A MUST STOP in Cody WY is the Dug Up Gun Museum! Hans and Eva (owners) were extremely friendly and knowledgable of all of the guns in the museum, due to the fact that the guns have been found and or acquired by Hans starting his collection around the age of 10 years old. Go see it!!! Even if you’re not totally into weapons, I recommend going for the history, authenticity, and pleasant (non-pretentious and un-gaudy) atmosphere. This place is only a few yards off the beaten path; it's a hidden treasure. The collection of guns, knives, etc. is fascinating to view and contemplate. It is unique and presented with great taste. The owner... More
