Scenic boat tours styled in an eco-tour format with narration from professionally licensed captains exclusively in the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. Come learn about this pristine and ancient land that boasts of having the "oldest trail" in North America. Archealogically speaking, this Recreation Area has more history of ancient human habitation and prehistoric creatures than Yellowstone Park. See this hidden treasure for yourself.

This tour is wonderful, an absolute must do when in the Cody area of Wyoming. From the friendly reception, the comfortable boat and the beautiful canyon to the very informative guide and good food (the beef brisket is delicious!) it was a fantastic way to see some of the most beautiful scenery and learn about the history of the region.... We took the scenic boat tour of Big Horn Canyon. The guide was awesome. At first, I thought it was going to be really boring because he first comes across as very laconic. However, he was really engaging and offered up lots of interesting information. It would be useful as a way to orient yourself if you were planning to... More

We had an amazing time! Saw a bunch of big horn sheep, including a group of 7 rams (which coincided with the Native story of how the area go its name!) The guide was very knowledgeable about the caves/canyon/surrounding area and had plenty of stories to tell about what we were seeing.

We took the boat tour on August 22, 2015. It was a windy cool day, but the boat had windows to keep most of the wind out. The canyon is beautiful and the history of the area is very interesting. We even got to see the Big Horn sheep; what an adventure. I would recommend this trip to anyone who... More

There were 10 of us in our family and 19 total on the boat for the tour. The husband and wife team were the owners and tour guide/captain. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area. It was awesome to see the canyon from the river. We liked it so much we drive up to the top of... More

I took the Sunset/Dinner Cruise. The scenery was beautiful, as you would expect. The narration was clear and informative, and the captain was open to questions. The boat had comfortable seating. Some windows were open, so you could get unobstructed photos. The cruise lasted about an hour and a half. The food was very good. They gave us each a... More

I live near Cody and my family visited in September. On the 6th we did this boat trip out into Big Horn Lake. It is a spectacular ride and my family loved it! Captain Mark does a great job of pointing out special places in the canyon and telling stories of the area. One member in our group is disabled... More

The Big Horn Canyon boat tour is a stop worth every penny and every minute. Breathtaking natural wonders all along the route. Captain Mark had a lot of interesting stories that made the boat ride very enjoyable. Take your camera. After the boat ride, be sure to drive to the lookout areas and see the canyon from above. Both perspectives... More
