If you are a rodeo fan, this is the place to be during Cheyenne Frontier Days! Took the youngsters up to experience CFD in July ... their first rodeo (we had not been in about 20 years) and it was enjoyed by both young and old.

By far the best rodeo--and I've been to a lot. Organized and fast paced. No dead time wondering what next. Great announcers. First timers: don't get seats above the chutes- you won't be able to see the riders until they are out in the arena. Best is directly across the arena from the chutes. Very large arena and lots of... It's fun if you like rodeos. Lots of people, food and fun. Worth a trip to Cheyenne for CFD. We have been going for years.

Something to do every day. We spent 5 days there and had a great time. Really enjoyed the events, especially the bull riding.

try and time your visit for the last week of July because the 'Daddy of em all' lives up to its reputation. We had never been to a Rodeo before but really enjoyed this display of athleticism and brute force. Lots of skill on display and something for everyone.

We recently visited Cheyenne, Wyoming on a trip to Denver and the Rocky Mountains. Known as the Grandaddy of 'Em All, the rodeo did not disappoint. Our family has been to many live sporting events, including professional football and baseball games and hockey matches, but none have been as exciting as the rodeo. We were on the edge of our... Having never been to a rodeo before we decided to go to the Grand-daddy of them all! What good wholesome fun. the people we met were so friendly and we were astonished at the abilities of the cowboys and all the requirements that must be met to have high scores....a true american experience...where people still respect our country, morals and "old... I had never been to a real rodeo. I enjoyed the first day, but the novelty kind of wore off the second day. It was basically a repeat of the day before. We attended two concerts in the evening. I would warn against Party Zone seating. It rained an hour before the concert and we stood in a sea of... More

Had lots to do and food everywhere. It is really the grandaddy of them all. Lots of tradesman selling their western gear. Will go back next year and take my time shopping. Would really like to see the entirety of the Chuckwagon cook off.
