Very nice art museum

A very nice place to just relax and look at all of the art. They even have a section for children to keep them busy and try making something fun.

This place has an excellent curator who is also a fine artist. They have lots of western based art and also contemporary displays. Allow 1 to 2 hours.

I would highly recommend the "Nic". We're members, and attend opening receptions, and enjoy the art. In the summertime, there are free folk-type concerts behind the museum on Wednesday nights at 5:30 p.m. (bring your chair or blanket). It's not a large museum, but there is always something new and interesting. Reasonable prices; though I don't know exactly since we... More

The "NIC" is always good value. Almost always free and displays are refreshed in a timely manner. A nice attraction for downtown activities.

They call it "The Nic." Modern and nicely done. On the day I visited, two distinguished artists were featured. For a $5 fee, this museum/gallery (The Nic) is well worth it. Nice gift store.

I love the Nic! Wish they were bigger and had even more space for displays and even more programs for kids. It is a Casper jewel.

There is always something fun and exciting to do at the Nic! Whether it's summertime and your at NicFest or the Farmer's Market, or you're attending a birthday, or you're just out for the day, the Nic always has something intriguing and fun for the family. I've been here for all of the above-mentioned activities and each was done with... More

I'm torn between liking it more as a museum, or as a hobo infested former train station/lumber yard that I remember from yesteryear. It is a beautiful building with good parking and wonderful grounds. I am just never impressed when I go in there. Lots and LOTS of random mediocre art from all around. Kids area is kinda neat though.... More
