After doing Wizard Quest we heard about this place. WHAT A JOKE. Our wand kept dying, it was nothing more than a big square of boring things and nothing challenging at all. My grandson quit 1/2 hour into it. TOTALLY not worth even 1/2 of what we paid.

This review comes from my children ( ages 12, 10, 9) as I did not participate in this activity with them. I checked them in then wandered over to the Tanger Outlet Mall for a few hours of shopping. If you stay at the Great Wolf Lodge you pay once and can play the entirety of your stay until 11:00pm... More

This is a very demanding workout if you play the whole quest. My boyfriend and I were probably the oldest people there playing (without kids) but we had a blast. It's 4 floors of searching and finding with magic wands, role playing as a wizard on a quest. And eventually you go up against a dragon. We gave up at... More

It was altogether a different experience visiting this place. When we started, I just started playing just for a sake and as the game moved in stages, it got very interesting and we stayed half-a-day extra just to finish the game, Our kids want to back again.

The MagiQuest and ShadowQuest games were fun for all of us ages 6-40. Lots of new things to do, areas for climbing and physical fun with some mind challenges as well. If you have kids that are attracted to fantasy literature and movies, this is a GREAT place. It was a sure haven for this family of Harry Potter nerds.

Research this before taking your family. We were overwhelmed by the commercialism and lack of direction from the staff.

Took our daughter (6 years) and son (4 years) to Magiquest as part of my son's birthday celebration. Magiquest is basically an interactive scavenger hunt that uses a wand (purchased separately ~$20 USD) to interact with different elements within the 4 story complex. Older kids will likely find the quests repetitive after a while, but for smaller children, they wanted... More

This experience will cost you, but keeps the kids entertained for HOURS! Interactive, four floors of area, where you complete quests with a wand using interactive items/screens. The fun doesn't end in the MagiQuest kingdom, there are interactive set up all over Great Wolf Lodge, even in the restaurant!!! So bring your wand EVERYWHERE!

I was told that this was more for kids 5 and up but I think 7 would be the more appropiate age. Unless you want to be a part of the quest, I would say at age 7 they're able to go off on their own and really have a lot of fun because it's very time consuming.

My kids love Magicquest, ask constantly to come back. Finally made it back in and was happy to play again. Disappointing that they charge extra for the new features. One of the chests on the first floor is broken and it doesn't pop open.
