This was a great resort, we stayed there over the weekend. Check in line was long, took us 35 minutes to check in. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We stayed in the Lodge Room, king sized bed, sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen. We had a problem with the in room safe and maintenance fixed it within... more

My husband, my eight year old and myself arrived during the busiest time ( on Dec. 26th at about 4 pm) Our wait to chek in was less than 5 min. Our room was lovely with a marble bathroom and pretty spacious. I expected the water park to be overcrowded since all the rooms were sold out, but believe it... more

We had been to Mt. Olympus the day before and burnt out on that so needed another indoor waterpark to go to. (March, family =husband, self, daughter aged 10). Kalahari seemed like a good bet so off we went. We had a great time there! The water was nice and warm, the slides were different from Mt. Olympus, and there... more

My wife and I had reservations and so did my daughter and her family. We arrived together about 10AM and my daughter Checked in first and headed for their room. When I checked in the snotty young girl at the counter said our room would not be available until 4PM and we would have to come back. I explained to... more

I don't have a bad thing to say. Place is big clean and fun. Not crowded at all, visted on a Sunday in September. Very nice place, highly recommeded! Only thing I wished hotel guests got a locker for free. $5 is ridiculoius. And you need $10 cash to get the key. more

Can't the "world's largest indoor waterpark" afford to buy some extra rafts to support the "the first indoor watercoaster"? They literally had 3 rafts to support the two most popular waterslides in the park. One raft about every two minutes left the staging area often with one rider. Average wait time was about 60 minutes. Hard to wait that long... more

If you enjoy water slides as I do, Kalahari's indoor park should interest you for at least a while. It has several fun water rides for varying ages, thrill levels, and party sizes. However, it is hard to stay inside it for too long, as it is very, very humid and almost arid. The lines grow progressively worse throughout the... more

My family and I stayed at another resort but visiting Kalahari one day to check it out. I did think that the admission was VERY high. Not worth the cost considering we could go to Great America for the same price and get so much more. We went on a Thursday and the crowds were very low. There was no... more

We have visited the Kalahari in Sandusky, OH and enjoyed it, so we spent a weekend at the one in the Dells. While booking it, they never mentioned the fact that they require the credit card to be present when you check in, so we spent about two hours after arriving trying to figure out what to do since we... more
