This is a great ride. We often go during the change of seasons, go around Halloween and you might get a pumpkin. Its lovely to see the changes of color.

The attention to detail of the machines was nice. We couldn't experience the steam due to drought and burn restrictions so we were pulled by deisel. The history lesson was good and the fact that they hunted down some of the original machines was good to learn. All volunteer to operate the park is impressive. When you go to your... More

When were got there we weren't expecting to see a miniature train that looked like it was for little kids. If I had children with me it would have been fun, but for all adults it was a weak attraction. The advertisements we saw didn't specify that this was like that. It was weak at best.

My husband and I came with our children, ranging in ages from 4 to 16. Everyone liked this, not just the little kids! The gift shop is (literally!) cool and has many things that would appeal to train lovers of all ages. The ride itself was enjoyable... relaxing and scenic. When it's time to turn around, one of the workers... More

Very fun to ride this small scale train through the woods and to view the railway complex! This establishment is completely run by volunteers and they do a fantastic job. They have nice picnic tables set up, so you can bring your lunch and watch the train come and go. There is also a gift shop where you can buy... More

It was a 10 minutes ride with 10 minutes of speech /break, and 10 minutes ride back. My husband, my 3 year old son, and I enjoyed it so much that we even talk about it 3 months later and all agreed it was the best choo choo train ride ever. We have rode small trains before in the zoo... More

we didn't like it at all. Maybe great for a 2 year old. The ride was short and there was nothing to see.

My husband is a train nut and we ride trains on every vacation. This was one of his favorite museums so far. I go along just for the ride and it was very pleasant. Many places to sit and read my book while he explores the trains.
