I have lived in the area almost my whole life. However I didn't know about this untill about 8 years ago. It is a miniture to scale Steam engine and Cars. We have taken our Grandchildren there 2-3 times per year over the last 4 years. Best for kids 3-8 years old. They have a picnic area so it can...

This is a few miles north of Wisconsin Dells. The train rides on a narrow track. If it's cold they did offer blankets to use for the train ride, because the cars don't have actually windows you can open and close. The seats in the cars are a little close, but they had more room then I thought they would....

This train rides on 15 inch gauge tracks. It is adorable & well maintained. The staff is all volunteer. The railway belongs to a non-profit preservation society. The ride is fun and passes through some lovely scenery. My 3 yr old grandson loved it. Well worth the modest price.

We enjoyed riding the train Labor Day weekend. Everyone was super friendly. Our two sons--Ages 7 & 2 both had fun spotting all of the hidden items along the track. We will be going back next summer for another ride :)

The scenery is excellent and it is a nice peaceful ride and I would recommend it to anyone. If you get there early and you are waiting to board your train in...

The train goes about 5-10 mph and in the middle they give you a little history while they turn the engine around.

After hitting the waterpark the previous day, we were looking for something else to do before we went back the next evening. We looked through brochures and Tripadvisor and decided that the kids (5 and 8) would enjoy a ride on the train.
We enjoyed the 1/4 scale train ride through the area where the "big" trains (now just up...
