Love this place. All about the trains, children and family. This was our second year we visited and decided to make it and annual stop. Reasonably priced and can spend a bit of time there besides the ride. Little railroad cafe to get a soda, coffee, popcorn, etc. is really cute. Great railroad toy store. Everyone there is happy to... I have a 2.5 year old son that loves trains. This place is fantastic for him and the adults that we bring with every time we visit. The train itself is small but large enough that 4 adults and a child (possibly 2) can sit together in the same compartment. There are sections of the train that are covered and... More

1/2 hour trip. Great for the little ones that love trains. Run by volunteers. Nice picnic area. No concessions on site, though.

Super friendly staff and such a great experience for the little ones. Our kids had a blast and we will visit next time we are in the area.

There really wasn't anything to see except trees and fake birds placed on the trail. Maybe OK for kids but wasn't entertaining for us adults.

This was a cute place. My 3 year old son loved the train ride. Look out for coupons in the free Wisconsin Dells coupon book.

This was totally great. This not-for-profit 15" scale railway is run by volunteer enthusiasts who are super happy to answer questions and nerd out about railroading. The scenic train ride is exciting for little engineers and peaceful & serene for adults tired of the Dells' main strip.

My 4 year old loved this train ride. We did too. Only regret was buying a train whistle from the store.... It was a long ride home with our son & that whistle. ;)

If you or your child is fan of trains then you need to visit this museum. I have read some of the other reviews about the price, which I felt was fair. It should be known that the railway is run by a volunteers. They keep it running to ensure that it is there for the children that visit and... More

We visited on a Thursday, when they said the steam engines were not running due to a shortage of operators. We didn't mind though because the steam engines can be loud and our son doesn't like loud noises. They had a gas-powered engine pulling the train instead. It's a nice ride and we liked watching the little engine spin around... More
