It was about a 20 minute ride on a small train (like what the zoo has). It was beautiful scenery but I thought the price was a bit high. It was $28 for 2 adults and 2 kids and we used the super splash pass which saves us $12. They had a nice store with a lot of Thomas and... More

Worth the ride. Nice little ride with excellent scenery and historical facts. With a little bit of humor to go along.

I wish our volunteers had told us a little more, but other than that it was a great little ride on a neat little train. I think my husband was even more impressed than my daughter.

Want to get your money's worth on the Splash Pass right away? We purchased the $10 Splash Pass and used it for this attraction with the buy 1 get 1 free adult admission at $12.00 We visited with our two boys (ages 2 and 5) and arrived at 9:30 when it opened. There really isn't much other than the train... More

My grandkids love this. It's a small train like the zoo had but better. They have snacks and a gift shop. Also little buildings to walk and tour. Kids like it because it's in the woods.

This little railroad is a bit off the regular path, but it's been a hidden gem for my family. We visit every time we go to the Dells. My kids love to ride the train, and my husband and I like to hear the history from the volunteers. If you have train lovers in your family, this is a cute... More

Our 3 and 4 year kids loved it. All ran by volunteers who truely love what they do. Very cool to ride on an actual steam engine. Very affordable

Nice relaxing ride through the property. Informative speaker at the end. All run by volunteers who were nice and helpful. Picnic area but no place to buy food. We come every year because we are members.

Many years ago I worked on the miniature train at the Milwaukee County Zoo and had the rare opportunity to meet one of the men who, with his father and brother, designed and built these little engineering marvels over a half century ago. The RG&N Railroad is actually the old Sandley Light Railway yard, rail line, and factory shops...now turned... More
