Admission to this, Ripleys, and Wizard Quest can be purchased together, and that's the only way I can recommend this attraction, because at that point it's essentially free. There were 6 films, they appear to be played in a repeating order but not consecutively. That is to say, between films, the staff allows the next few visitors to trickle in, and then... The 3d wizard of oz film they showed us looked better when we took the 3d glasses off. Seat poker in the backrest poking us was irritating, I wanted to rip the thing out of the seat. Weird mist hose thing spays you with water at odd times. We left before the other films started. Just poorly done!

$12.95 per adult. Freezing! Get sprayed with water while you're freezing. Odd movies with horrible 3D. Our group was teenagers and 2 adults. No one liked it. We left half way through. Too cold to even bother to finish it.

Very disappointing. At least 2 films too many. Several films shouldn't have been made into 4 d, like the "wizard of oz", and the other one about fairies. They just didn't translate to 4d for me. Also in between several of the films, they had the same introduction and my 4 year old daughter dreaded the part where "the guy... More

We did this as a package ticket to see WizardQuest, Ripley's and the 4-D theatre. Overall the theatre is small and doesn't use the latest 3-D techonology but it was still fun. When we went you got to 6 short films (almost an entire hour) - some unique adventures specifically for the theater and some were shortened synopsises of full... More

This was a huge let down, you do not pick which movie you want to see, but pay for all 4 of them which in my opinion makes it less than 'Kid' friendly. Also when we bought tickets we were under the impression that the chairs moved which they don't, you do however get blasted with air, sprayed in the... More

This was fun, but it actually kind of hurt during the movie the way the seats moved so hard in different directions. I wouldn't take a child under 8 there because of that reason.

Not a good experience. We went to a 4D in Chicago and it was amazing at the Shedd Aquarium. The dells one needs to update. Seems like he has the very first software. You can't see through the glass's nothing even looks 3D. The owner needs to go to one that's actually good then watch his and he will see... More

I've been to several 4D theaters that me and my family fully enjoyed where people were laughing, smiling just having a blast! BUT... At this 4D theater FX in the dells.. The only thing people around us were doing was getting up within 5 min of the show and headed for the doors. The picture seemed dark, the glasses didn't... More

Not a bad experience for what it costs. Six mini movies for $13 is a pretty good deal in my mind and it's even cheaper if you do a combo deal. It is definetely not Disney worthy but for the Dells I thought it was pretty fun :)
