Kids aged 3 to 73 had an educational and fun time. Everyone enjoyed the different exhibits, especially being able to lift the car.

A lot of neat things to do for the kids, but some of the best attractions are seasonal (the gyro, high wire & giant lever). However, it gets 5 stars because they sell discount tickets to the waterparks year-round and it is a GREAT discount. My daughter and I got two days to Kalahari for the price I would have... More

Happened to stop by the Tommy Bartlett Exploratory on a whim during our trip to fill time. It was a fun way to spend a couple hours, we were the only two people in the Exploratory for the majority of our time there so we were able to mess with/play with all of the exhibits. It was also a lot... More

My husband and I visited here recently and were really disappointed. The place hasn't changed since I was here as a child. It was really a waste of money, maybe if we had children, we would feel differently, but for 2 adults, it was a waste of time.

This is our second time doing this. My son is 7 and remembers it from last year and insisted we please please please do this again. It is definitely showing it's age and is pricy but lots of hand on experience. I would not recommend this for children under 5. Great to kill time on a rainy day. It took... More

People skip this awesome attraction because they think it is boring. It is the most AMAZING hands-on experience you will ever get- no lines, EVERYTHING is hands-on and trust me- you will remember this activity. Well worth the price of admission. If you have never gone- you are MISSING OUT on a great experience!

We have visited the exporatory twice now. Once about 6 years ago when it was just myself and my husband and once again in August 2015 with our 2 year old son. The place is a bit overpriced for the level of entertainment offered. More than that though, at this point in its life its quite old. Things just seem... More

We, two seniors, went into the Exploratory thinking it was just for kids but thought we would check it out. Were we surprised! There were so many interactive experiences for all ages we were there much longer than we thought we would be. Educational and fun.The MIR Spacecraft is a real window to another world in space. Fun and interesting.... More

It's a bit overpriced and showing its age. It's an interactive kids place that is somewhat like a Discovery Museum. Adults will be bored unless they share in the kid's excitement.

We visited the Dells in the off season and went here in the middle of the week so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I have to admit, when we first got there it reminded me of an episode of are you afraid of the dark. I was kinda creepy weird. However, there were 11 people in our... More
