This is an older version of a science museum of sorts. You can spend quite a long time if you're in the mood. We always enjoy it. Don't miss the Tommy Bartlett water ski show... read more

I have a 4 and 6 year old and we spent a couple hours here. They were very entertained by everything to see and try. We went on a Wednesday afternoon so it was not that busy. The only downfall I would have to say is there was no place sit, whether you have to take care of a baby... More

It was average and just ok. Luckily, we received free tickets from Kalahari. We went to the 4:30pm show. Afterwards, we were told that the 8:30pm show is better.

Great place for kids. It's fun, exciting and educational. Word of advice, if you're going to see the Tommy Bartlett Show after the Exploratorium, get to the Exploratorium at least 2 hours ahead of the show. We only had an hour before the show and didn't finish 2 floors at the Exploratorium!

Been here several times, even as the kids are getting older it's still fun. Make sure you take your time and explore the exhibits, don't rush through or you'll miss a lot. Only negative for us was the gift shop is gone, it's now a Chinese restaurant! Doesn't really fit in with the Exploratory.

Boring! We only went because we had free tickets as part of our stay at Kalahari resort. We left at the intermission. My children ages 6 and 10 were not amused by the very cheesy clown. We are not a fan of circus show and that is what this felt like. Super corny and really not all that impressive.

We explored this to kill time before the show and we were pleasantly surprised. Everything is hands on and educational and fun- perfect for young kids. They can touch and interact with everything!

There wasn't anything about this that we didn't like! My 12 year old granddaughter tried everything in the Exploratory. There was lots to see and do and we stayed for about 2 1/2 hours. You should give this a try especially if you end up in the Dells on a rainy day but it's worth it any day of the... More

We went on week night and it had rained most of the day and started to clear off so we decided to go debating what it would be like if we went and it started to rain. It did start raining and was still a great show! We sat under the cover for the general admission and had no problems... More

It's a little pricey, but great interactive entertainment for science or sci-fi minded kids. The backstory and robot effects are cheesy, but the interactive games and activities are quite challenging and informative.
