Well worth the price of admission! The space may be small, but included are pieces from the 19th century through present day. It truly is an eclectic mix, you're sure to find something particularly appealing. They also do a nice job of rotating traveling exhibits, offering programs for adults and children, and staging special events this weekend's 'Bloomin Holidaze'. Ask... More

It's been 15 years since we have been to a John S. Curry exhibit in Madison. There were several pieces that weren't in the exhibit back then. My wife and I both became members!

What a fantastic addition to West Bend! LOVE IT! The building itself has some character and adds a lot to the city and it's a great venue for events. I've been to two receptions there and had a great time at both. High class place.

This is brand new museum (Bldg) in West Bend. It is quite manageable size wise and has several traveling exhibits as well as permanent collections. I was pleased to see that one whole wall was displayed with overstock paintings from floor to ceiling. Much better idea than hiding them out of view in some storage room.

We came here on the recommendation of my sister, who is a Wisconsin Artist. While the museum reminded me of the East Wing, with its triangular shape, the MOWA contains a much smaller display space. I should note that you have to pay to get in and there are various memberships. My mother and my sister spent 15 minutes trying... More

The architecture of the new museum building is wonderful. The exhibit space, although small, is great. They have very interesting special exhibits. A visit to the museum store is also a good idea.

It is a must see if you are in West Bend or in the area. The curators have done an excellent job of mixing change with standards in the exhibits. Go on line to see what is currently being displayed

We went to MOWA during opening weekend. Stunning is the word that comes to mind to describe the building that houses many contemporary Wisconsin artists. MOWA also maintains a vast archive and collection of historic Wisconsin art. My favorite exhibit during opening weekend was "Antifragile: Contemporary Glass.” Many beautiful examples of studio glass from were part of the exhibit. This... More

Hi, West Bend may not be Milwaukee but as the saying goes, "Great things can come in small packages." Well, we are definitely smaller than the larger cities around southeast Wisconsin but the new Museum of Wisconsin Art is anything but small. This is a grand venue with an outstanding collection of Wisconsin art. The building is new and worth... More

This is a great museum of Wisconsin artists. It's a great place for a short visit with many different rooms and exhibits. The one this summer of glass was totally awesome but currently my favorite is the Textile Worker which is made totally from clothing labels. You have to see it! Currently there are some incredible fresh flowers arrangements on... More
