Glad I have a season pass

Fast lifts and groomed runs. Wish there was enough staff to move lines along on busy days. We go weekly.

Great place to visit and great skiing for the Midwest. Lots of runs and nice new high speed lifts. They have nice terrain parks some challenging runs as well as some nice long cruising runs

Overall, being a less frequent skiier, this was just what I expected. The lift ticket is extremeely pricy, with a 1 day, all day ticket at about $85. There is a $10 discount offered if you ski Noon to close on Saturday. The attendents all throughout the resort were extremely friendly. Bar food and drinks, a bit pricey with a... More

Open runs during the weekdays, well kept parking and walking paths. Lift attendants friendly. Food a bit pricy but expected.

We skied Granite Peak on Sunday, Jan. 24th. We signed our youngest son up for an all-day lesson, and were very impressed by his progress by the end of the day. The two magic carpet lifts made things much easier for him than the typical tow rope, and his instructors were experienced and patient. The rest of us had a... More

A very nice place to go ski for intermediate and advanced skiers. Over 70 runs, with almost half being black or double black diamonds. Most of those are just steep, not anything too crazy or super difficult as far as terrain. Two high speed lifts as well which are a huge plus. Enough runs and lifts that even on a... More

No school today for our kids... decided to head to Granite for the afternoon. About 80 minutes from home. Price for the lift ticket for half of the day approx... $86. Got the daughter and her friend all situated and off to the chalet for me. Until till 4PM when their ticket time was expired. Instantly the smell of a... More

This weekend was our third ski getaway in Wausau in the last four years. Despite bitter cold all ten in our party had a wonderful time. The hill is small by Vermont or Colorado standards but the north facing slopes means better snow retention than other Wisconsin resorts. Granite peak has three types of terrain -- glades, upper slopes which... More

Had a great time up here this past weekend, was well worth the 4 hour drive from Chicago! Great runs and lifts for Snowboarding! Only complaint I have is over priced for lift tickets and food, $85 for one full day, this isn't Colorado! This is only reason in the future I might save 2 hours and go to Cascade... More

Very well kept resort. Love the lodge area and bar. There's always a bunch of fire pits going and heated tables outside. The food had gotten a little overpriced over the years. Everything is clean and well maintained. The staff are every nice. Saturday afternoon there is usually live entertainment in the bar area.?Lots of lifts, a couple of high... More
