This winery does it all. Pleasant atmosphere, they take the time to educate you about wine, and being there when there is live music makes our visits extra special. Be sure to talk to Jeff. He will make sure your experience is positive.

Unplanned stop but worth it. Our server was very friendly, really discussed the wines. Nice atmosphere, a band was playing. Bought a couple bottles

We were greated as we walked in, offered a seat, and given a menu and pen to rate our tasting. The staff was friendly and added fun facts about the wines instead of just repeating routine facts that everyone else spouted. We found ourselves sticking around a bit longer to chat and learning a bit about the area. This was... More

Located just south of Sturgeon Bay, Red Oak is quite easy to find (right next to the bird seed outlet) but, housed in a former boat sales building, might not attract your attention. The facility is clean and well-kept, though, and worth making a stop. The tasting fee is a little pricey - $5 gets you five samples, but we... More

Of the Door County wineries, this one was the least busy. As a result, we had a chance to talk with the employees and learn more about the wine and winery. We had a very pleasant experience and enjoyed the wine.

When we stepped inside the bartender asked us,"are you here for the wine tasting or to just use the bathroom." fill in the blank"What a ____! of course we went to the other bar where he was not working. The young lady at the bar takes our money and we pick our 5 choices. After the second choice she gives... More

The wine tasting was nice. We sat at table which can be so much nicer than standing at a bar. Servers were quite attentive.

My boyfriend and I stopped here first on our way up to Egg Harbor. I had read reviews and was hesitant to stop. We decided to stop and we had a great experience. The women working was very knowledgable about all of the wines. She was the only one working at the time so she had to go back and... More

My husband and I went here for the first stop on our wine tour and we're very disappointed. We did a tasting where we had to keep asking the server to come back over to serve our next sample, because she would serve a sample and then go over by the register to talk to the other employee and ignore...
