We had a great time! We took two small children (5&3) and it was the perfect length and perfect distance. I have seen some negative reviews on here but for the money ($25 per person), you get what you pay for. Our kids got to spray the fire hose and they told us briefly about attractions that we passed. I... More

We took this 10:30 cruise. The scenery was beautiful. It was well worth the $25.00 per person charge. Also, they have blankets for the people that always cold. That is a good idea! The crew was very entertaining and there were things to occupy the kids as a fire hose and a roving dalmatian dog. Fun for ALL!

Informative, relaxing tour of Sturgeon Bay. The Fireboat tour provides the right mix of information, music and beautiful scenery.

We enjoyed the cruise and felt it was very informative about the shipping history of Sturgeon Bay. We felt the $95 price tag for our family if 4 (18 and 15 yr old teenagers) was a little high, but we still thought it was a great time.

The Door County Fireboat Cruise on July 4th is a great way to enjoy the Independence Day Fireworks. A group of nine of us made reservations a couple weeks before the holiday and we enjoyed a fun couple of hours. The folks running the boat were friendly and informative, the view of the fireworks was great from the water and... More

Even without kids this would have been a fun cruise...but especially with kids it's great! More great customer service (like everyone else we came across in Door County) from the people running it...always concerned about what we might need and making it a fun experience. Yep like one of the sourpuss reviewers said someone dressed up like a Dalmatian and... More

We just got back from a family vacation in Door County, and my boys are still talking about the Fireboat cruise. We had a wonderful time! I braved the trip with my 3 and 5 year old boys--yes, very brave!! The captain and his first mate kept us entertained, fed--you can have lunch and adult drinks, and spraying the hose... More

If you are looking for a party boat with drinks, food, and loud music (everything from Mustang Sally to old-time swing tunes) then this might be for you. However, we were totally expecting something else. We went on this tour as part of the Maritime Museum Lighthouse Festival, and we were under the assumption that this was a narrated tour.... More

We rode the fire boat today and it was one of our best times all week! The crew is delightful and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The weather was a little objectionable, so they made it up by showing us part of the bay on the other side. Bar with cocktails at a reasonable price as well... More

The trip is about 1.5 hours out to Lake Michigan and back. The coastline is beautiful and the family running the boat is very friendly. Snacks and drinks are for sale very reasonably. A wonderful experience, Must See!!
