Stopped in for a wine tasting and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of wine offerings. The building appears to be new and there was plenty of parking. We did not do a winery tour. A tasting costs $3 but you get a $3 credit on any wine purchased. Wines vary from sweet to more dry and full bodied. There... More

We had a blast at the Door County Distillery & the Door Peninsula Winery! Wish we would have had more time to try the fudge and olive oils and browse more - but we were on a tight time schedule! Will definitely have to stop back in again! Of the 7 wineries we stopped at this was by far my... More

Having been in and out of this business for 25 years and watched it grow to a large enterprise in the little pass through town of Carlsville (between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor) right on WI-42. Over that time has probably slipped in charm and thus just an average attraction to me. They have both a winery and distillery on... More

This winery had the most varieties of fruit wines of the wineries we visited. We did not have time to take the tour but did do the tasting. Very much worth doing the tasting. Sister-in-law had been here before and requested we pick her up a case of the mad about mango wine! We bought a few for ourselves as... More

Very nice building and grounds. The winery tour itself is very short and could be skipped but it's only $3 so if you have 20 minutes to kill go for it. The tasting is also $3 and you can taste 6-8 wines. The tasting bar was very crowded but we still revived great service. You get a $3 off any... More

Stopped here twice actually - once for the distillery and once for wine tasting. Both were exceptional experiences. $5 for the distillery, but you get a shot glass and the bartender guy was AWESOME. So much fun to help us choose which ones to taste and how to best enjoy them. Walked out with a bottle of Cherry Brandy and... More

We almost passed up this winery as we had the impression they only offered the sweet Door County wine. Much to our surprise they had a full menu of various wines including some full body choices. They even offered a chance to taste their brandy. We ended up picking up some of their ports as they were very reasonably priced.... More
