A little tricky to find, but once you do, you will have to stop every time you visit Door County. Good wine, nice items in the general store and a nice place to relax in front of the fireplace.

My family always plans a stop at Simon Creek during our annual trip to Door County. The winery itself is beautiful. The grounds and the building itself stand out against many of the "cookie cutter" type locations selling wine in the area. The service is always top notch , and nothing beats a bottle of white, some bread and cheese,... More

This winery is off the main highway on the Wisconsin Peninsula, but worth the trip in. Beautiful vineyard and very interesting story about the Al Capone attempted buy out. The wine is pretty good, stick with the whites. They also have beautiful hand painted glasses!!!

During my stay in door county my boyfriend and I were able to go to every winery. As well as some wineries along the way back to Chicago. This winery had the best wine! The service wasn't as friendly as Harbor Ridge Winery, but their wine was amazing! I especially recommend the red table wine. The winery was in a... More

This place is a little harder to find, and not right off the main roads like some of the other vineyards and wineries, but it is totally worth the side trip. The grounds are really beautiful. There is a nice gift shop and tasting room. If you have time for a tour, it is worthwhile. Very interesting, and our guide... More

For my money, this is the best wine up in the Door. The setting of this place is just a bit tricky to find so navigate those country roads carefully. Upon finding it, you will be rewarded by an expansive property with a beautiful building. My friend and I sat out on the beautiful veranda and had a glass of... More

My wife and I stopped here for on our anniversary trip and must say, it was probably one of the best experiences we have had. The servers ( mother / daughter ) were VERY helpful and even had a pair of cheaters for me since I left my glasses in the car. The wines were all very good and not... More

This winery was more out of the way than I expected, but we eventually found it. The building and the grounds are very nice. The store inside has some fun things too. But the wines were just okay. Worth a visit, though.

Simon Creek Winery is located iin the very center of beautiful Door County. We are also exactly 3 miles from the County"s two main highways, 42 and 57.. We loved this place... one of the best wineries in Door County. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty fruit wines. If you don't like fruit wines, maybe don't go to Door County? That's a lot of what you are going to find there just because of the sheer location of the place.

Simon Creek Winery was my favorite stop on the Door County wine trail. It is a beautiful setting with vineyards that you can walk in and outdoor seating. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine while overlooking the property. We were also pleasantly surprised with the wines. Neither of us are big on sweet wines. Most of them... More
