Hadn't been in 20 years and thought it would be fun for a return visit. They have a nice area where you walk in and pay and had a beautiful (relatively new) Japanese garden that you walked by on the way to the entrance. Also a new museum about the owner and history that looked very new and clean. Then... More

Okay, going against the grain here and only gave it a 2 because it is unique. When we arrived, I was excited because the pots along the drive were so whimsical. That was the high point of my excitement. The walking can be a challenge at times so need to know that. They do point this out in their information.... More

We went and took our grandchildren there. You can use a stroller for most of the house. The grandchildren were fascinated by the music machines. Buy the tokens when you get into the place. The music machines cost a quarter. There is enough people that buy as well so you will hear and see a variety of instruments move. My... More

A singular experience. Be ready to walk miles--bring walking shoes! No one can reeeeally describe this place because it's so unique. I'd recommend not talking to people about it because it will spoil surprises. Go as early as you can because it takes hours.

Everything is fake! It was nearly $80 for the three of us. I have no idea why this is a place to visit. It should be burned down and allowed to return to nature. Absolutely filthy and horrifying. Do not let the space and design of the lobby area fool you. I could not leave this place fast enough.

Not what I was expecting, but much more. The man who created this was to say the least unusual and had an avid appetite for diversity. Whatever he did he did with gusto and expertise to do the actual work. Do not miss it.

After 15 years I visited this beautiful place. I am a nature admirer person. I salute the owner who spend his life architecting and building the Mansion. Section 2 and Section 3 was also gorgeous. Parking was near the Mansion. Price was relatively high, owner should think of providing giving coupons/groupons so more people can visit this place. I still... More

This place is difficult to describe! It's interesting and definitely eclectic. You won't find another place like it, but for me, it was just kinda WEIRD! I most enjoyed the dollhouse and circus collections, but they were toward the end of the tour, and by then, we'd already seen so much stuff that we could barely process everything. The carousel... This place was funny, silly, weird, and at one point creepy as hell. The entire area was amazing and a treat for both the eyes and the ears. The only thing the freaked me out was the small section that held the china dolls. The lights in that section of the building were set real low which made it really... More

There is so much weirdness here, I can't even explain it. The worlds most unique and comprehensive imagination comes to life here. I definitely recommend stopping despite the high price to get in. You can pick and choose which of the 3 tours you want to take which will cut costs a bit. I somewhat feel there is lost potential... More
