Have been here twice. The 1st time around 5 years ago and then again last week. The price has gone up quite abit since the 1st. time from what I remember. It cost me $103 for my wife and 3 children! A full 3 1/2 hours took us through this fascinating place. Talk about ecceletic. The rooms were dark making photo shots hard but buying the DVD helped. It is a lot of walking up and down and the narrow passageways would be a challenge for someone a little large. BUT well worth the visit. The collection rooms were just fascinating.... more

The House on the Rock is a mish mash of fun and quirky history---Elementary school age children will find it cool and amusing, and adults will cringe and laugh and get a kick out of reminiscing through many of the collections.
