It's hard to explain what this place is all about. Kind of a mix between the Science & Industry museum and Ripley's Believe It or Not. The original house is simply groovy! It looks like a place Hugh Hefner and Jim Morrison would've partied at back in the day. It's amazing it was built back in the 40s. Alex Jordan... More

This was my 3rd or 4th visit and I will never grow tired of it. I truly believe that it has become cleaner, that there is a better ventilation system, and that the way they have changed the walk through has really improved the place. There were two of us that took our time walking through all three areas (we... More

Leave yourself plenty of time to explore this architectural oddity. Fall is a great time to visit this part of Wisconsin.

This was my second time here..first time was when I was a kid....and it was just as fantastic as it was the first time. There was 6 of us plus 2 toddlers in our group. DO NOT BRING A STROLLER! It is not ADA .. we read this beforehand, so we bought a hiking backpack..and put our 1 year old... More

So very interesting but not for people with disabilities. Is not wheelchair accessible and there is lots of walking up and down ramps, crowded and dark so if you have a hard time navigating it is not for you. I highly recommend it though if you have no problem getting around.

We were spending the week at the Dells and looking at something to do for the day. An hours drive from the Dells and well worth the drive. A good deal of walking but there are plenty of places to stop and rest along the way. There are 2 places in the "House" to buy food and drink.

This was an amazing thing to get to see and sort of odd to be in the middle of nowhere. It has a lot of neat old things and loved all the old musical things you could play as well. I suggest to read some of the things in the first room. Most of it is just stuff to look... More

This attraction is very interesting to say the least. There are three sections costing $12.50 each or if you purchase all three sections the price is $28.50. If you went all day, from opening to closing you would not be able to see all three sections. We were told section 2 would take 1 hour. We spent over 4 hours... More

I enjoy House on the Rock and try to go every few years; I've been going since I was a small child. Even though I've seen it many times before, it leaves me in awe each time. The exhibits are intimidating (in a good way), and the music machines are fascinating. I let myself play almost all of them- there... More

Although I visited and reviewed the website, nothing could have prepared me for the eclectic combination of collectibles housed within this attraction. Allow for a minimum of 3 hours for all three sections (but more if you can spare it). A fascinating place. My only complaint is that there are so many tight squeezes that the house is not easily...
