We expected kitsch... but we stayed over three hours and would love to go back! Took tons of photos (no restrictions on photography except no tripods. We used a monopod). Every time you turn your head, you will see something new. Go slow! Don't carry heavy things; you will be sorry! We walked almost 3 miles, and over 18 equivalent... More

While it sounds like an attraction that features a piece of amazing architecture, it is not. Well, at least it is not "serious architecture". House on the Rock is a place that tries to catch your eyes with the strange architecture ideas such as the Infinity Room and stranger and endless collections of weird stuffs. There are 3 sections. Section... More

This was a very fun, interesting attraction. I recommend all 3 attractions. This takes a good three hours and also dress warm if it is a cooler month you do walk outside to get to each building! There is a lot of walking to do and things to look at. Its just amazing how it was built.

There's a lot of walking on uneven floors while distracted, through low lighting. Not great for wheel chairs or strollers. There's a lot of high up. But ultimately there is a lot to see,and that's what makes it fantastic. Do the gardens on your way in to the first building and be sure to bring a camera and a sense... More

Wife and I visited here and spent just over three hours touring the grounds. What a wonderful, eclectic, a little creepy collection of stuff from all over the world. We will definitely be back and will be bringing the kids next time. They will absolutely love this place!

The house by itself is an architectural comedy. The design is vintage and the home begs to be lived in once again. This could be one of the most unique homes to live in but it is now an amusement park. Definitely a bonus that the public is able to enjoy the amazing indoor carousel. It is hard to grasp... More

We went through all three attractions and found all of it very interesting. We stopped for a piece of pizza (yummy) and continued on our tour. The musical instruments and carousel were my favorite. I also liked the house. I don't like heights, but enjoyed going out in the infinity room. The lighting was low in some areas, but it... More

First, since this is a long tour, I was particularly grateful for the many benches. There are so many unusual collections here, carousel animals and the carousels themselves, dolls, doll houses, millefiori paperweights, and countless absolutely beautiful stained glass lights. There are whole rooms which are elaborate music boxes with instruments and figurines which are life sized to play them.... More
