While traveling from Bayfiel, WI to Duluth, MN we stopped here because we had heard about all of the falls you can see in the park. Well we got a $5.00 pass for an hour, and my girlfriend and I were able to get out and check out the many falls and still had extra time. Stop through to check... More

The falls are very beautiful. Trails are great. You will find yourself snapping photo after photo. Well worth the admission (annual state park sticker even better).

If you enjoy viewing waterfalls without the strain of many steps or rocky trails to navigate, this is the park for you. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the views of the falls and rapids. Walk through the easy trail on the "island" and meander back across the beautiful covered bridge. Some visitors were even swimming in a quietier cove... More

Amazing to read that people can swim in the water and even under the falls. Sure wasn't going to happen while I was there. In fact, this is one of the most powerful falls I've EVER seen and I've seen many from Niagara, falls in Oregon, the U.P. of Michigan and the falls in Yellowstone and Glacier. But that does... More

It was fun walking in this park. It is so beautiful with the river running through it. Walking is easy.

I have been here when the water was low and when the water was high. There are plenty of hiking trails and scenic views. Kids are entertained with somewhat challenging rocky climbs without being too dangerous. Listen to what the rangers have to say. If they say no swimming then abide by the rules - that water can be dangerous.

We spent a couple hours here and could have spent more. I was a gorgeous place to see. And to see the Horton covered bridge was great to.

One of a couple of jems in Douglas County Wi. A very enjoyable place to picnic, get wet and hike with numerous waterfalls and small pools to splash around in

Georgeos place to camp for the weekend. Very nice secluded, private sites. No showeres or a dump station. Hiking trails are well maintained and appropiate for young children as far as safety and length. Nice picnic area with covered roof. Bridge over the falls/river is spectacular.
