The food here is very good. Be prepared, though, to be nickeled and dimed. I had a quiche and it was yummy. My husband had fried eggs and bacon. The waitress asked if he would like toast and what kind. We were quite shocked to later learn it wasn't included! $2 extra for toast! Who serves fried eggs without toast?... More

The moment you open the door you know you have entered someone's labor of love. The intoxicating smells of bread, pastries and coffee, the lighting, the polished wood floors and the perfect mix of music, and the genuine friendliness of the owners and staff invite you in. This is more than a bakery, it is an expression of love and enlightenment.... More

I've been to DC hundreds of times. The expectation is that every store is lovely, all bites are tasty and service is excellent. If not so, then one really can't survive because the competition is fierce and the standards are as high as the prices, no matter where you go. With that being said, I was so unexpectedly charmed by... More

This is a very good local bakery. They have an excellent array of fresh breads, pastries and cookies. You must consider crying their Corsica Loaf, which they sell by the pound. It is a white bread with olive oil, it is delicious. Be sure to take a lots of napkins, you will need them for your oily fingers. I wish... More

I could have hung out at this place all morning. Great service and staff. The cinnamon rolls are mouth watering. Hot chocolate for the kids is recommended. I will be coming back for lunch very soon!

This place is incredible. They bake a variety of breads on-site. I bought some of the Corsica bread, which they have patented their recipe, and it was more than delicious. Their bread is sold by the pound so you can buy whatever size chunk you'd like. I also purchased a turnover and it was the best I have ever tasted.... More

We always stop here when in Door County, and this visit did not disappoint. I bought delicious croissants and a wonderful whole grain bread. Everything I've purchased here has been very good. It is a little pricey, but I'm willing to pay a little more for this level of bakery goods.
