What a surprise! The Kohler is by no means a stuffy entree in the Art game! The galleries are filled with brilliant works, many of them made on the premises. There are spaces for children to create, a charming cafe and a clever bookstore. By the way, don't miss the rest rooms and make someone of the opposite sex take... More

So worth a visit, the great ideas begin near the main entrance with a drop-in anytime, anybody art room. Kids or adults can DO ART, whether a sand-cast or their own hand or a plastic-wrap mold--or at least these were among the fun options available during our visit, with prototypes based on current displays. From there wander the delightfully creative... More

The best part about the arts center is the collaborative art room for kids. My 7-year old daughter never wanted to leave. Great stop on a day trip to Sheboygan. Interesting art and the bathrooms are a must-see.

This is so,worth seeing. When I was there, they had the house and work of the rhnestone cowboy. I loved it. His glitter pictures were something I wanted, I know, it sounds terrible, but they are winderful. The whole house was there with the glitter TV and all of the glitter in the house. I love how folk art is... More

The Kohler Company has a unique Arts/Industry program to support the arts and built a lovely museum to house the results. It invites several artists every year to work in the company factory; each artist gives a piece to the Kohler Museum. We were impressed by the breadth and depth of the collection and the educational facilities on site. The... More

We visit JMKAC every few months to see the interesting exhibits and features. So many varied styles of art, artists, shows, etc. The grounds are outstanding and professionally maintained also! Love this place. Spend a day in Sheboygan by visiting Bookworm Gardens first, lunch at Field to Fork, then see JMKAC!!

Took a side trip to Sheboygan to visit the Kohler Gallery. Fascinating! Do not miss this. The designs and tile are incredible. This is by donation. No admission cost. They also have a room where any person of any age can spend as long as they like designing art projects. I painted shopping bags for museum purchases at an upcoming... More

I LOVE visiting the Kohler Arts Center whenever I get a chance during my many trips to Sheboygan. On this particular visit, students from a local high school program were performing and demonstrating projects they had explored and researched that culminated in an art experience. Through dance and song and video and painting (and much more), students shared what they... More
