Children's books are the theme of different areas of this beautiful outdoor garden ready for your children to run and explore. Each area has different hands on activities that are help yourself and mostly in good repair. A central office building has rocking chairs to curl up and read a book from the shelves full of great choices! Grab a... More

My husband and I visited Bookworm Gardens with our almost two year old daughter this past weekend. The gardens are just beautiful. There is so much for little ones to explore. We packed a little picnic lunch and ate in the treehouse. My daughter loved all the different things she could touch and play with. We will definitely be visiting... More

Interesting. Beautiful gardens. Take a kid and plan some time to sit and read in one of the most beautiful gardens anywhere.

Bookworm Gardens exceeds expectations no matter how much visitors brag about it. I've taken children from 1-year-olds to college-aged and never had one who didn't have to be dragged away. Sometimes we don't get past the bus! Turn children loose and intuitively they know what to do in the Gardens. They explore, play and re-enact stories they have read/heard. Not... More

We went to the garden after seeing all of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. Even though the gardens are 100% free we found ourselves making a more than suggested donation because we would love to be able to go there again. The staff were extremely friendly, the facilities spotless and the gardens were so much to look... More

My five-year-old granddaughter and I both loved Bookworm Gardens! The grounds are beautiful and there were so many places for her to explore and play. We'll be reading more of the books she wasn't as familiar with and going back again next summer. Hats off to the volunteers who maintain such a great attraction and keep it free for families... More

We stopped at bookworm gardens on our family day out. My youngest daughter LOVED it and could have spent all day there, playing in the magical gardens. The grounds were beautiful!

Bookworm Gardens is a great place to visit for both children and adults. My 2 & 4 year old were thoroughly entertained exploring for a good 2 hours, probably longer had we not had to leave for dinner. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous plants and flowers meticulously and generously arranged around the whole property. Very whimsical and charming. Admission is... More
