This is a hidden gem. The flowers and landscaping were beautiful for anyone to walk through and admire, but the whimsical decorations made it an escape to another, simpler time. This is a wonderful place for young and old to enjoy nature and literature.

fun cheap outing with a family. Take your time or go fast whatever you like. This is the second time there and sad part of it was under construction but it is big enough to take time...but not too big that kids would get exhausted

This delightfully whimsical garden was beautiful. There were surprises around every turn, and most flora was identified. I had a smile on my face throughout our visit. Each themed area is carefully designed with statuary and plants. There were many children visiting, and their enthusiasm topped the visit off perfectly.

I had heard only great things about Bookworm Gardens, but I was blown away with what a delightful place this was. First, any place that encourages reading books in our technology age is welcome. Secondly, the gardens themselves are gorgeous, but then to be thematically tied to books is so clever. My two sons absolutely loved this place and we... More

Great idea, beautiful place, and free! Kids and adults will love it! Gardens are beautiful, and kids can read the story that inspired each area.

I cannot say enough good about this place! My boys love books and are extremely active. This gives us the best of both and in a stunning setting of gorgeous gardens. We sit and read one of the books at one of the many spots designed just for that and then are off to play and explore this world inspired... More

What a wonderful idea children books to read in the garden outdoors . The story theme of each garden was well thought out, which created a "Let's explore adventure. " Great for adults too. Brings back memories of story books read as a child. Can't wait to have grandchildren to bring here.

Bookworms Gardens is a wondrous spot for all ages. The grounds are well maintained and appealing to the eye. Whether a reader or a young visitor, it is still interesting what they have done to provide a special place to share stories. The hands on exhibits are fun for all ages. You can go there alone or with a large... More

We loved this place! Wow. More amazing than we thought it would be. So many neat sites for each book, hands on things for the kids, and books to read in each place. Beautifully done and such fun for kids! It's also free (thru ask for a very small donation, but it's very worth it!). Highly recommend if you are... More

This is a beautiful place to explore for all ages. The gardens have many hands on exhibits. The magic tree house is beautiful. My daughter loves checking out the pond, helping in the garden, and making fairy houses.
