Went along to the museum whilst attending EAA Airventure, both the event and the museum are simply a must for any aviation fan / enthusiast / pilot. The exhibits at the museum are amazing, from Orville and Wilbur to Rutan and much much more. Very very good!

If you come thru Oshkosh in late July/early August make it a point to stop in at EAA Air Adenture for the airshow-especially on Saturday when they put on a night air show. There are planes with sparklers, an awesome fireworks show and it tops all of that with a finale of a funny car snd the wall of fire.... More

There is something for everyone to see at this museum, and if you have any interest at all in aviation, then you won't want to leave. You will want to come to AirVenture in late July/early August. You can also see the airshows from all around Oshkosh, but being on the grounds for this is spectacular. If you happen to... More

I have lived in Oshkosh for 15 years and have been the EAA Museum a handful of times and have enjoyed their week long fly in along with the rich history of the museum. If you have time to walk the grounds I would do it. SO much to offer besides looking at planes.

This is a World-class Museum in the middle of rural Wisconsin. If you have only a fleeting interest in aviation, you will enjoy this museum. If you are an aviation enthusiast, you will be enthralled. The exhibits address the important events in the history of aviation from the point of view of the little guy. From the Wright brothers to... More

The museum is a must for anyone who enjoys air planes & their history. Numerous interactive displays for children & adults. They have wheel chairs & elevator for disable persons, but they were a little hard to find. It was an enjoyable experience & I would highly recommend it.

Aircraft old & new fill the grounds & sky during the annual EEA AirVenture. It's great to see, but be prepared for crowds. Also, only EAA members may go on the flight line. Others are restricted to the exhibit and concert areas. You still get a great view of the daily sky show, however, locals get an equally great view... More

The last week end in July marks this annual tradition. Planes of all sizes, ages, shape and color from all over the world come to this spot. The museum is open year round for fun experiences. Toddler to high school aged fun for kids and adults. My favorite is the virtual flying you can do. Worth one visit, but through... More
