EAA means Experimental Aircraft Association and this museum coincides with their headquarters. The main museum houses a wide assortment of hobby and commercial aircraft including a significant exhibit of Dick and Burt Rutan's aircraft. They have meticulously duplicated several historic planes like the Spirit of St Louis and those of the Wright Brothers. They have one area that involves a... More

Biggest and best airshow in the WORLD! 10,000 airplanes and 500,000 people make this the extravaganza of all air shows. Anything and everything associated with aviation can be found here. After a 40 year aviation profession, I finally made it to Oshkosh. There is nothing else like it! The flying and the static displays were all so well done. Great... More

Recently visited the EAA Air Museum in Oshkosh. Very nice presentations and very good representation of aviation history. The staff and volunteers were extremely polite and seemed to really enjoy what they did. A nice stop while traveling through the area and chance to stretch your legs while taking a stroll down memory lane.

Absolutely awesome. My husband is the aviation enthusiast but have to admit after spending one week at Oshkosh airventure I am hooked. The organisation was tremendous. Plenty parking. Plenty food and shops. The Air shows were jaw dropping. Skip Stewart amongst others with their dare devil shows have to be seen to be believed. One week is not enough to... More

The museum is very interesting and the exhibits are extremely informative. My family enjoyed it. The flight simulator for $6 per person was a lot of fun, but there is plenty to look at and learn for the admission.

Although I have been coming for years now my grandson was finally old enough to join me. he managed to deal with the walking around better then I did considering my recent bunion surgery. We we got to sit he even wanted to get up and keep going. Hint; Ice Cream helped recharge him and me too. So the warbirds... More

Well worth the visit, you could spend a day here and still miss lots. Catch a movie, so many planes to see. So much history of EAA

Loved the history of Spirit of St. Louis and airplane displays. Lots of history on the challenges of flight in the first days. Good theaters and documentary films. Elevator is available for access to 2nd floor for elderly and stair challenged persons.
